Magical place. It's like living a dream!

This is a magical place, the moment you walk in the restaurant you already feel you are living a dream. The moment you start eating the delicious food you wish you could go on forever! Amazing experience!!

This place is overrated. Take it from NYC and Philly area foodies who know the difference between true gourmet food and pretention. We were served virtually raw lamb -- seared black on the outside, bloody within. When we asked politely (in Italian) for it to be better cooked, the waiter gave us a lecture on how this was the ideal... More

As others have noted Google maps directs you to the restaurant via SS117bis which passes overhead in a fly-over..If you have a death wish, stop the car, look over railing and there it is. A little out of town, not for walking. We searched for it in the daylight and went in and made a reservation. Plenty of parking, excellent... More

We reserved a month in advance on the excellent advice of a Sicilian friend. And we decided that this would be our Gourmet meal. We chose the "chef's fantasy" wit the paired wines. What a wonderful evening, everything was perfect. And at a reasonable price, expecially considering he quality. Don't hesitate - if you are planning a trip to Sicily,... More

If you are in the area Al Fogher is a must. On a recommend from COS winery we found this wonderful Restaurant. The pastas were out of this world, meat dishes were cooked to perfection. Desserts were extremely creative. A marvelous wine list priced very reasonable.

An excellent fine-dining restaurant, about three kms outside Piazza Armerina, with very original dishes, beautifully presented. My wife and I could fault neither the cooking nor the service. This is a restaurant definitely worth visiting if you are in the vicinity. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Having been advised that this was a first rate restaurant with a chef passionate about fusing flavours with local ingredients, we wondered whether our expectations for dinner were too high. We need not have worried. This was the best meal we had in ten days. The Maitre'D had worked in London and was very helpful in explaining the mid-sized menu... More

Ambience: terrific, a touch of Bavaria, big wood burners, sloping roofs, very cosy. The owner is a collector of objects, even mineral water bottles. Food: excellent, delicate flavours, excellent presentation, both fish, meat and pasta. This was the best meal we had in a week in Sicily and we had been looking. Wine: a huge wine list, full of interesting... More

Four of us walked in on a Sunday for lunch with no reservation and were treated like special guests even though we were planning to visit the Villa romana a Casale after eating. Recommended by the knowledgeable owner of our accommodations in Licata - Antico Dimora San Girolamo - we were treated to local, well-researched and presented dishes and wonderful... More

We had lunch here recently on our way to see the Roman villa. They were very nice, but the place is pretty formal. We ordered two salads (the cheapest thing on the menu) and (inadvertently) a plate of cheeses. It took almost 45 minutes to get the food, even though there were only 4 other people in the restaurant, and... More
