Don't miss the bruschetta

Simple and honest food! Won't wow you but you'll leave with that comfy feeling of having had a home cooked meal. Don't miss the bruschetta though! A huge slice of toasted bread covered by ripe tomatoes and olive oil! What a treat! For the bruschetta, 2 pastas, a bottle of water and house white... read more

If it wasn't for the positive reviews on TripAdvisor, we probably wouldn't have sat down for dinner here. Plastic chairs, a plastic roof over the outside tables, a menu sign with pictures... But looks can be deceiving, and the reviews were right. I had a very good, well seasoned steak (with french fries as a side dish), my wife ordered... More

We turned up quite late as we had got ourselves lost in the little cobbled streets and alleys of the town. No matter, the owner cheerfully showed us to a table and quickly arranged much needed water and beer. The pasta norma was really tasty and we decided to return the next night to have a more leisurely meal. We... More

Really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Very friendly and helpful waiter (I think he was the owner). Great pizza and delicious cannoli with pistachio for dessert. Not much English spoken but we got by with our limited Italian and it was fun.

Piazza Armerina has become a regular stop on our trips to Sicily.. not ony for the Villa Romana and Morgantina but for the wonderful trattoria and delicious food that awaits us at Da Gianna. Our last visit was in March and even on a cold day Gianna exceeded all expectations.. Wonderful freshly prepared antipasti with eggplant (aubergines) and if you... More

We found this place randomly walking around the town at 2pm after visiting Villa Romana de Casale. It was pretty much the only place open but almost full with locals. And quite honestly it is the best food I had in Sicily so far. Everything we had was homemade and fresh, cheap and incredibly tasty. You will wait a bit... More

This miniature trattoria was recommended to us by locals last year and we had such good memories that we returned again this year. Authentic Sicilian food cooked simply with much pride by a charming couple whom we will never forget.

We have been to trattoria da gianna two days ago and the food was brilliant. We were served 2 types of Pasta and fish and king prawns, real value for money!

Situated next to the Garibaldi Theatre, all tables are outdoors but undercover. The menu is not extensive, but the pasta is fantastic. Group of 4 ate and drank here for less than 50 euro. Staff speak no English, but that is not a problem. Totally recommend this place.

perhaps it was a quiet night for them but didn't seem to be very well patronised. We were offered Sicilian speciality pasta but didn't quite understand what was in it - if meant to be Pasta con Sarde, there was little evidence of any sardine - possibly a bit of anchovy? tasty wild fennel in it but soggy breadcrumbs folded...
