My son found this restaurant in the Lonely Planet book. It was a warm day and we had the table by the front door which was open. The service and the food was just great and highly recommended and reasonable.

Great pizza from a wood fired oven (only operated in the evening). The desserts were not bad either ;-)

We went twice to this place because we enjoyed it, first for lunch when it was packed, the second time for dinner when it was quieter. Both times we had traditional Italian fare home made and delicious. The service was friendly without being overwhelming. The atmosphere of the place is not touristy but traditional. Good value as well.

Been here twice. First time pizza which was very good, but second night we tried other food which was not very good (soup tasted mouldy) and service extremely slow;so on average it was just average.. All locals eat pizza... should have been a hint!

I went to the restaurant in September but forgot the name of it! Could not recommend it highly enough, delicious food and keenly priced. Bit of an uphill walk to get there but well worth it for the pistachio pasta!

This restaurant was recommended by the parking attendant at the Villa Romana del Casale and I thank him for it! Was easy to find, staff was kind and helpful, and we had a very pleasant and very tasty lunch. Would eat here again no question.

I ordered the Macco di Fave soup with wild fennel, it was excellent, then had farfalle with pancetta and pistaccios, tasty. The scallopine was prepared in a marsala sauce and was a really nice cut of meat. It was obviously too large portion but the waiter had warned me and I insisted since it was my last night.

It was recommended by our hotel and in the beginning we were little skeptical. But our experience was not disappointing. The food was very tasty, service was very good, prices reasonable. After we finished our meal, we got to talk to the owners and particular to Giuseppe. He gave us the name of the restaurant in New York that his... More

We had driven into town to look around and just dropped into this restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was very good , the service excellent and the atmosphere enjoyable. What more could you want for lunch? While we were there people kept dropping in - obviously locals enjoy this place too.
