Best Pizzas in Town

Although the Italians tend to eat later we were really lucky to get a sat here at 8:30, it was already filling up - advice book next time. The garden area is favourite and clean. We always try to dine at Gli Ulivi as often as we can when we visit Puglia each summer. We love the antipasto best - incredible variety of dishes and great value as well - order 1 antipasto to share between two so you can fit in their other great dishes like the Costata di Vitello or pasta dishes especially... Our Italian neighbours staying next to us recommended this place to us. We arrived early in the evening and we were thoroughly explained choices as a vegetarian some of the dishes can be challenging. I was given a different style of mushrooms with a herb and vinegar dressing which was good. We were also given complimentary bruchettas and a spinach... More

We've owned our trullo in Alberobello now for 9 years and this restaurant has to be our favourite in the entire town. Whenever we have a first-time visitor we take them here & order antipasti. Never fails to impress. Great service, beautiful local produce and a fantastic atmosphere. Happy days!

We had ONE of Many Wonderful meals we have had in Italia. Upon arrival, the restaurant was not very busy but we were given a table and menu's and then they brought fried fava beans and olives while we mulled over the menu. Our ABSOLUTE wonderful waiter, explained everything to us, and took our order, in which the food arrived... More

Recommended by our Trullo owener - don't be fooled by the neon lights outside, follow the steps down to a busy restaurant - a large selection and not just pizza on the menu - the antipasti just kept coming. The vegetarian main choice was a little bland but the rest of the food was spot on. Good service and my... More

Incredible food and local wine! My husband and I each ordered a pizza and some local Primativo wine. We were blown away by the flavors! I had a pizza with fresh tomatoes, basil, and burrata cheese. I wish I could have eaten more of it, but could only eat half. (Their pizzas are a good size! ) My husband had... More

This is a great place to eat for atmosphere. It has an expansive menu that is reasonably priced. We went on a Tuesday when it was full of locals watching a Champions League game so it was pretty lively. We enjoyed it very much.

Restaurant was recommendeed to us by our host as a place "where locals eat". When we're on oliday we want to eat only at places like this, just for locals, that tourist don't go to so the food is real. We were afraid we would have difficulties with the menu but it turned out that our waiter, Vito, spent many... More

We spent a week in the Alberobello area and had the most amazing meals during our stay. The only disappointing meal we had was Gli Ulivi. The service was not good. We had to wait long periods to order and then to receive our food. The food was not anywhere near the standard we had experienced in other restaurants in the... More
