A mistaken choice, reflecting the occasional dangers of democracy. Mediocre pasta and, when cover charges are included, somewhat expensive relative to other, better places.

Thought we were in for a treat but was sadly disappointed - not especially by the food but the surly service & our being placed in a room at the back (the "tourist" section?), away from the atmosphere in the main restaurant. A large Japanese tourist group were leaving, and perhaps that's why our waiter seemed tired and uninterested, but... More

Eight of us happened upon restaurant for lunch -- they welcomed us -- took wine order and placed order for anti pasta for all. Were ready to then order the primi and secundi -- but our waiter cautioned us to wait -- and he was so right -- too full to go on -- but had dessert, specialty of the... More

This place offered a real Apulian experience of the local traditional food and interior . Located in the heart of the old town it has a well kept old local furniture and trulli exterior design. The food was very good, the wine was even better and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They will bring for trying different local... More

Very nice home made pasta, good wines, polite service. After placing the orders, you will get diferrent kinds of appetizers, olives, some nuts, and lots of focaccia, everithing is very tasty, but leave some room for the meals you've ordered!

We came for dinner without having reserved and were well received. Pleasant staff. We made a choice for the antipasta and then tri de pasta. Surprisingly and unlike other parts in Italy, the antipasta is a dish which is enough for dinner. They don't stop bringing various dishes typic for the region , I think about 11 plates. As it... We have been staying in this area for 2 weeks, during which food and service has been excellent. We chose Trulli D'Orro for dinner on our last evening, and we were both disappointed with the whole experience. On arrival we were not shown to our table, just pointed to it. Wine was not offered, and when I asked as to... More

We ate here on our first night. The restaurant is in a Trulli house, which was an experience. The food was good, but the portions were enormous, especially the melon and ham starter, so we couldn't do it justice. It was difficult to believe that some people eating in there could eat so much! The staff are pleasant, and the... More
