Great food and view of the Rhine

My family of four had dinner here. The Wiener schnitzel was the best we had in Germany. Out 9 year old finished hers off and starting stealing off her mothers plate! The prices were lower than other restaurants whose menu's we checked but the food was great! We ate somewhere else the second night and the quality of food and... More

We had an amazing dinner here. Both of us had a 3 course meal, but it also included a small salad, so it was more like 4. Everything was amazing and fresh. It would have cost double back home, so we were also pleasantly surprised with the price, even though it's a splurge for the area. Highly recommend!

Are here last night and was disappointed. The food was very dull, flavours were not fresh and expensive night at over 100 euros .

We stayed at the Rhine Hotel where the restaurant is located. The chef is extremely creative with the menu. Everything was to perfection. A $19 entree which was one of their higher priced dishes would have easily been $35 in US with the quality of food and presentation. Casual yet nice atmosphere. I had the whole fried trout. I hope... We loved both Stubers and Bacharacher Hof because the food is a cut above a lot of the other menus we saw in Germany. Our dinner here was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. If you're looking for a nicer dinner this is the place to go!

We ate outside on the lovely little covered terrace as the trains zoomed by, not wanting to disrupt others with our pram and baby. It took 5 or so minutes before anyone came out. Back they went inside to find us menus (perhaps keep some out there as most people coming to a restaurant require a menu to select food... More

I had dinner twice in this attractively-appointed restaurant during my stay in Bacharach, appreciating the early (5pm) start of service. I sampled both the fish and the regional specialities menus, and my only real criticism was the rather salty sauce that accompanied the roast beef on the latter. Service was attentive, agreeable, and could be quite characterful!

Most expensive restaurant of the ones we tried in Bacharach and while good food, not worth the price. There are nearby places with equally good food at a better value.

A dining experience in Bacharach! The menu is a fusion of classic German and pan-European. Don't miss their Pate with red wine, onions, and roasted almonds. I had the grilled salmon fillet with Riesling-crayfish sauce which was probably the best salmon I've ever eaten. Although a bit more expensive, treat your self to a bottle of the dry Bacharacher Riesling... More
