We ate outside on the lovely little covered terrace as the trains zoomed by, not wanting to disrupt others with our pram and baby. It took 5 or so minutes before anyone came out. Back they went inside to find us menus (perhaps keep some out there as most people coming to a restaurant require a menu to select food... More

Service was attentive, agreeable, and could be quite characterful!

Most expensive restaurant of the ones we tried in Bacharach and while good food, not worth the price. There are nearby places with equally good food at a better value.

A dining experience in Bacharach! The menu is a fusion of classic German and pan-European. Don't miss their Pate with red wine, onions, and roasted almonds. I had the grilled salmon fillet with Riesling-crayfish sauce which was probably the best salmon I've ever eaten. Although a bit more expensive, treat your self to a bottle of the dry Bacharacher Riesling... More

Had our dinner here last night. Very scenic view out the front over the river Rhine except that a train thundered past a few metres away every 20 minutes or so but not really the owner's fault. Food was great. I ordered a pate plate followed by roast beef and then a trio of mousse for a total price of... More

As the number 1 rated restaurant in Bacharach, we were expecting a better overall experience. Service was very slow but food was good. Prices were higher than other restaurants so when combining the food, service, and value you can definitely find a better bet for dinner in bacharach. I suggest Zeus for dinner.

After a week in France and getting an endless stream of meals that seemed indifferently prepared we were thrilled at Stubers where each dish seems lovingly cared for. The meats were tender, the sauces were flavorful, the salads had interesting combinations. The desserts hit their marks as well. We asked to eat on the patio, with a view of the... More

Chef (and owner) Andreas was very solicitous during breakfast. He checked a dozen times with everyone to make sure everything was alright. Later in the day, when I asked at the desk for a bike, the staff member went to fetch someone… and Chef Andreas arrived to help. He mentioned a German expression for having to do many jobs and... Lovely german food, and as expected, a fairly large portion size. We had beef and pork - the beef was amazingly tender; the pork was good but a little dry. Seemed to pay a bit more attention to the food, sauce, garnishes, etc. Excellent local wine recommended by the waitress. We arrived at sunset and decided to sit on the... More

Our family ate dinner here. We had the mushroom soup it was excellent in both taste and presentation. The salads were out of this world. All the main entrees were excellent, we had wild boar, salmon and beef with with spaetzle. Best meal of our German vacation.
