After a week in France and getting an endless stream of meals that seemed indifferently prepared we were thrilled at Stubers where each dish seems lovingly cared for. The meats were tender, the sauces were flavorful, the salads had interesting combinations. The desserts hit their marks as well. We asked to eat on the patio, with a view of the... More

Lovely german food, and as expected, a fairly large portion size. We had beef and pork - the beef was amazingly tender; the pork was good but a little dry. Seemed to pay a bit more attention to the food, sauce, garnishes, etc. Excellent local wine recommended by the waitress. We arrived at sunset and decided to sit on the... More

Our family ate dinner here. We had the mushroom soup it was excellent in both taste and presentation. The salads were out of this world. All the main entrees were excellent, we had wild boar, salmon and beef with with spaetzle. Best meal of our German vacation.

Perfect in every way! Had Wild Boar and wife the Trout. Happy and highly recommended. Great view of Rhine as well if you get good table (which we did).

Our lunch at Stueber's is one of the favorite memories of our vacation. We sat on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Rhine on a gorgeous day. We ordered pork with mushroom sauce and spaetzle and it rivaled any meal we had during our previous week in Paris. Well done, Mr. Stueber!

Among the best of the local restaurants we've sample din our 10=days in Germany. The chicken apte was superb, the wild boar saurbratten interesting and tasty. Salmon had a bit too much curry. Mushroom soup was very tasty.

We dined here one night and it was a great meal we did not expect. The restaurant is local establishment with great tradition. The current chef owner is the sixth generation. He greeted us after the meal personally. The waiting staff were professional and friendly. They made sure we did not over order and had enough food! The main dishes... More

I had the pork schnitzel with white asparagus and my husband had salmon, I think in a curry sauce. I know schnitzel is boring but it was our first night in Germany and wanted some traditional German food, and it was good. Would definitely eat here again.

My wife and I have visited Bacharach on many occasions and always make sure we eat at least once in Stübers, the restaurant in the Rheinhotel, on the mediaeval walkway on the wall. The food is simply superb, probably the best we have experienced anywhere in the Rhineland. Two weeks ago we had the "Winzersteak", a marinated pork steak in... More

A truly incredible, memorable meal. Although we had just had appetizers during an extensive wine-tasting, we both ordered the three-course menu because it sounded so good, and it was worth it.
