Nice casual dinner

Wonderful location in an upscale shopping area. Nice bright interior but also a little Asian flare with the small sushi bar. The sushi was fresh and tasty but the assembly could have been nicer/tighter. Good authentic Thai curries as well. Friendly service. Kids would be okay. Good choice.

This is one of our favorite spots for sushi, thai and fresh fish. The nightly specials are always good. Service is very friendly and we love the atmospher

I LOVE their sushi here. It's simple, inexpensive, and delicious. Their Thai food is also excellent. The service can be a little hit or miss depending on how busy it is, but it's usually pretty good.

Along with another couple we had a very pleasant dining experience at Thaijindesu. The manager let us in 15 minutes before their regular opening time and we were served without delay. All four Thai entrees were visually very appealing and tasted delicious. You can order how spicy you like your entree, or you have the option of having a tray... More

My man and I really love this place. I primarily eat vegetarian and chicken dishes. He likes seafood. All the food is consistently good, including the appetizers. As the name suggests, this is Thai food. We enjoy the small outside dining area when weather permits, and the inside is nice as well. When we take someone to dinner, we don't... More

We have been eating at Thaijindesu since it opened in 2006 and it quickly became a family favorite. The food is fresh and flavorful as you would expect in a nice Thai restaurant. The Japanese sushi is very fine. The owners (husband & wife team) are always welcoming and friendly. The kids always choose to have dinner there. The prices... More

So nice to have a Thai restaurant on Restaurant Row in Port Warwick in the heart if Newport News. This is one of the top 3 to try. The atmosphere is quiet, nice, and red. My favorite is the avocado cucumber salad with a very special dressing. I love the coconut soup and the pineapple fried rice with chicken and... More

During a recent business trip, our local colleague took us to one of his favorite Thai restaurant. I hesitate to call it a restaurant. It was much more like a culinary experience. I strongly suggest sampling a couple of the appetizers as they begin guide you into the experience gradually. Once the meal comes, your sensors will be completely overwhelmed... More

We did some research to find this restaurant and it lived up to our expectations. We don't usually see a combination of Japanese and Thai food in the same restaurant, but they did it here and we ordered some of each. The service was prompt and food was served hot. We had the green curry, the pad thai, and fried... More

Sushi ain't my thing, but my companion thought it was quite good. I enjoyed the Thai Special Rice. Entrees come with a small salad. The restaurant is smallish, but well appointed. The dishes that I have tried are quite tasty. The menu is not extensive and mainly it is a variation of the same dishes. The only downside to the... More
