I would choose Aromas over the clone-style of Starbucks any day. The coffee is strong, flavorful and smooth. The coffee beans are roasted, I was told, in-house, clearly by someone will exceptional skill. Breakfast is exceptionally good, whether scones, omelets or traditional scrambled eggs and bacon. The sandwiches tend to be over-stuffed in today's standard sandwich style of massive portion... More

The service was friendly and prompt. The coffee was as good as coffee can get - I also got a take home bag that was also excellent. Great atmosphere. Oh yeah, the place was aromatic.

I visited Aromas 3 times in one day!! And, the day before, I went to the Williamsburg location. Can you tell I liked it? I love this place and love the music they play (both locations). This cold day, I started out in the early morning with an AWESOME hot chocolate. The inside is warm and friendly and you look... More

I love the atmosphere and the food is made to order. They have various teas and coffees for all. It has wifi so there are all kinds of people that sit in or outside. It has a wonderful view of the fountains.

Aroma's has a very convenient location, plenty of parking in the area, too. Sometimes there is live music, which is nice - that usually happens in the evening. The coffee selection is good, with interesting specials and desert coffees as well. They have a decent "fixins" area to put added stuff in your coffee. They have good breakfast, lunch and... More

Tasty sandwiches and soups. Excellent desserts. Prices are a bit high. My veggie sandwich was a bit small for what I paid. Very close to Marriott hotel.

Food was great, as was the drink selection (even for a non-coffee fan like me). I was particularly happy with the number of teas they had available, which is something I've found many cafe's lacking in. I came in to Aromas for breakfast one Sunday morning. At that time, there was hardly anyone else there. I ordered the Brie stuffed... More

Aromas is a great place for both coffee and food. It beats the heck out of the commercial coffee vendors that seem to be on every corner. You can even get your coffee in a mug as opposed to the standard paper cup!

The atmosphere and view are nice but ultimately the coffee disappoints. In a ceramic cup it is good, but the paper cups they use impart a strong unpleasant paper taste.
