Wednesday night OPEN MIC at Aromas Newport News brings out the best musicians in the area. It has a great atmosphere, great food and beverages, and attentive staff. I just got back from lunch there and had the best French Dip Roast Beef sandwich I have ever had -- and I have had a lot of them. Another thing that... More

First off - good coffee, friendly staff. I have had breakfast and lunch here many times and have not been disapointed - Breakfasts are prompt and heartyful. Lunch has great soups, salads. And there are lots of yummy desserts to choose from too to fill out your meal. I do find the over-the-top-eco friendliness of the place a little offputting,... More

What a fun place. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Baked goods are phenomenal. I had tea so can not comment on the coffee but there were plenty of blends to choose from. Highly recommend!

Maybe I am tainted from living in Austin, Texas where people in coffee shops are super friendly and welcoming. While staying at the Marriott I walked over to do a little work on my laptop and enjoy a coffee among "the locals". Very nice appearance to Aromas and the coffee aroma was awesome. Got to the counter and said "good... More

I stopped here for lunch during a business trip and was surprised to see that they had a lot of choices for food and not just coffee and drinks. Reasonable prices, great location, and nice setting across from the fountains... Great place to relax and read while sipping some coffee or having a little lunch.

I stopped in for my morning tea while my husband had a business breakfast. Strawberry daiquiri tea was good. Really enjoyed it three years ago when they had chocolate cherry tea. ;-)

Coffee is first rate as is the hospitality. Friendly, accommodating, engaging. Real people who like you. Ate the breakfast burrito and strawberry creeps to go. Very good. Burrito was a solid performance. Well balanced flavor and spice. Creeps were good. Too sweet for me but that's personal preference. Highly recommend this place.
