I had a few gift cards for Panera so I called in my order (Lemon chicken or so soup and Thai chicken flatbread). I had gone to the website prior to ordering and signed up for the rewards problem which entitled me to a free sweet/ dessert instantly. I got the pecan braid. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Small portions,... More

We are from Florida and were visiting family in Newport News. We were glad to find a Panera Bread for lunch. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed eating at a restaurant we know from back home. It was very crowded and busy the day we ate lunch. But the service was very good and... More

We stopped here for breakfast on our way through Newport News. It was challenging to get to because our GPS kept getting confused as to our location. After driving in circles for a bit, we happily located the Panera Bread farther down the road than where the GPS was leading. If you can muddle through a confused GPS system and... More

Parking, ingress and egress, is a little tight at the JANAF location, however, both Greenbrier and JANAF get the order right and out to you quickly and it tastes great. I especially like the breakfast soufle, soup bowls and the turkey/avocado sandwiches.

We order from Panera at least twice a week & pick up lunch. The local Panera is less than a mile from the office. Love the wide range of choices, everything is delicious, and the friendly staff is always helpful. I usually get a You Pick 2 choice, my husband prefers a panini.

Had a day to spare and needed wifi. We sat in a secluded area for most part of the afternoon, ate a delicious lunch and then an early supper, using the free wifi. The Panera was busy throughout the day with familes, students and couples - great atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable - like being at home enjoying good food!

While waiting to pick up my sister from work, I had a couple hours so I stopped at Panera Bread across the street from Christopher Newport University. It was about 2 pm so it wasn't crowded. The menu always looks inviting, especially their selection of soups. I love the atmosphere, I just pull out my IPad and enjoy a soup,... More

Stopped for a quick breakfast snack and coffee. This Panera is in a relatively new shopping center near the Newport News airport. The shop was full of retirees and soccer moms in mid morning on a Tuesday. The restaurant was clean and the wait in the ordering line was short. Server asked whether I wanted my bear claw heated. Told... More
