Decent Food, Decent Service BUT....

Our visit was on March 9, 2015. The decor was kind of 70s-ish which I am noticing this is a common theme among old school restaurants in the area. Staff was reasonably friendly. Menu has a little bit of everything on it. We ordered an appetizer of jalapeno, bacon fries and split a plate of... read more

I had two eggs sunny side up, potatoes, toast, and coffee. My son had scrambled eggs, bacon, sugar ham, sausage links, potatoes, grits, pancakes and Pepsi. The potatoes are among the best I have ever had with just the right amount of caramelized crustiness on the outside. Eggs, although on the small side, were cooked perfectly. My son said the... More

We ate here before going to see Jersey Boys. The food and staff were great. Way too much food but sure is good. Will be back to try something else that is inexpensive and great to eat.

Walked in, saw the sign that said wait to be seated and waited for four minutes before a young woman behind the counter said, “You can sit down.” We did. As our server approached, she said to the young woman, “Who told them they could sit down?” It went downhill from there. Three other parties that entered the restaurant after... More

Ate here for dinner the other nite. We had eaten breakfast here before and wasn't impressed but thought we would give dinner a try. We wanted so much to like it as they have a great old fashion menu with lots of comfort foods. Unfortunately the meal was not very good at all. The fries were very greasy tasting.. My... More

Very good diner food. I had the bowl of chili and a grilled cheese sandwich. My partner had the steak sub and fries. Both were very good. Nothing fancy, just good food at a good price. The service was quick and friendly. It is nice to have food that is not fast food and this place offers just that.

The place was exactly as I expected...clean..servers were experienced..food was fast and tasty and my burger was served MR as ordered. If your in a hurry and just want a tasty reasonably priced meal this is the place to go. This is not another chain or food network fantasy it's traditional tasty food served by people who understand we just... More

1st visit - Place is dingy and dated and appeared to have never had a good cleaning. I ordered loaded cheese fries which were actually pretty good until I discovered more than 1 beard hair in them. Cook was in plain view and the owner of the lovely hairs was obvious. Mentioned it to the wait staff, but denied the... More
