Interesting menu choices. Burgers were quite good and the salads were excellent. Make sure you try several of their appetizers.

I've been here three times and all three times the service and food were exceptional. The staff always makes the best wine recommendations, the food is american eclectic and the OMG cheesecake dessert is definitely "OMG". Inside the venue is quite small and tables are set close together, but the dim lighting and decor makes it in line with the... More

We just ate here for a family birthday dinner. The place is small, wasn't as loud as I expected from other reviews, and was excellent! The food is out of this world. We moved from Hampton Roads (chain restaurants galore) to Lexington, KY, where I have always been impressed with the number of outstanding local restaurants. Circa 1918 could knock... More

Nice selection of "small plate" appetizers, along nice selection of bevetages, wine & spirits. Mushrooms, scallops, shrimp & oyster dishes were absolutely superb! Definite go to place set in Hilton Village

The best food in town, good wine selection. Chad and his crew of chefs and staff do an excellent job. It is quite noisy when crowded.

What a gem in the middle of Hilton Village. Everytime we eat here it is great. The owners are outstanding and normally around to discuss the menu. It is a go to restaurant which could fit I in any high dollar city but we are glad they settled here in VA

I was pleasantly surprised with my meal there. Went for my (ex-)wife's birthday (July 2014, sorry, just now logging back into TA and writing the review), and was not disappointed. The food was memorable to the level that I'd actually consider going back to Newport News. And that says a lot - that's a town I mostly try to avoid... More

Crowded and quite noisy. Probably best suited to the younger crowd altho if you're a real gourmand, you should pop in your earplugs and enjoy the excellent cuisine. We won't go often because of the very high noise level but we will definitely return.
