It's what you'd expect from a chalet that serves predominantly hunks of meat run and cheffed by the same old guy for the past quarter century. Quaint, bustling, tasty.

Very good choice of affordable wines, tasty meat offers, mouthwatering starters and very traditional dinning.

Went here the other day on hearing about it from other people, first we went down to the bar, it's all you need and a bit cheaper than town and then the following night to the restaurant. As expected the steaks were to die for, cooked to perfection on a open fire. The chief, the old man that cooks the... More

If you like steak and you can afford the £100 + pounds per head GO there, I had rib of beef, a whole pound in weight or possibly more, it was cooked to perfection by the 87 year old owner, my goodness it was excellent, the place was busy, were told there would be 20minute wait which doubled, but that... Booked and arrived 8.30pm received main course at 10.30pm. The sides and sauces arrived 10 minutes before the main courses which were also completely out of step with each other. Food was good quality but cold - service terrible - so bad that this has forced me to write my first revue. To cap it all extremely expensive, the worst... More

It's the little pub downstairs that is a hidden gem. Cheapest jugs of beer in Méribel and a very convivial, cozy atmosphere. They do a decent Toffee (tasted like Butterscotch to me) vodka as well. The steaks upstairs are very good but they are really pricey.

I can certainly recommend this place. We enjoyed our food and the whole dinner. They offered us fresh oysters. The beef filet was very good, and their apple pie also. There was only one thing very strange and I can not understand it. We ordered one portion of beef filet and two half-portions, but when the waiter brought the dish,... More

The restaurant is upstairs in an old building on the bend in the road on the way up to the Rond Point. Its full of character without being naff! The owner/chef comes to meet you and engages in a real conversation. Great service from friendly waitresses. The menu is very meat oriented. We treated ourselves to a "roast beef" for... More

Kiki is the shop owner who still cooks your meat the way you desire in the chimney in front of you! We've had a warm welcome, excellent meat (our friend did have an additional for desert and this is no joke), and a perfect apple pie to be ordered at the beginning of the meal. They offer you genepi the... More
