Wonderful experience. We stayed a week in Provence and this was the best restaurant of the trip. Excellent service, fantastic food, reasonable price.
We had a lunch at this lovely restaurant in Bonnieux. We had a table outside on a very pleasant September day. The atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was delicious and we felt we could have eaten a whole bowl of it! Our main course was the scallops which was one of the best... More
On our last evening in Bonnieux we made a reservation in this amazing restaurant. Beautiful interior decor and the most delicious meal. We do not hesitate to give this gem a five star treatment and would return without hesitation.

It was our first night in Bonnieux. I had actually made the reservation before leaving the US. I was glad I did because the restaurant was full. The decor are lovely. We had the red pepper layered with goat cheese appetizer with roasted tomatoes. Its was not only beautiful to look at, it was delicious! My husband had rabbit for... More

Entrees were a wonderful risotto with lobster and wild mushrooms with a dark rich sauce, and asparagus served in two variations -- as a drink with whipped foam... More

We booked well ahead, and were shown to a quiet table near la cave, as requested in the reservation. Service was prompt and attentive without being overbearing, and we were soon... More
We chose L'Arome for our special night out in Bonnieux. We weren't disappointed. We were seated in the "cave" section. Very romantic. We ordered 3 or 4 course menus and a good bottle of wine. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted even better. For a full Provençal French meal, L'Arome is hard to beat.
Tonight as we near the end of a relaxing 3 weeks travel in Spain and France, we ate at this special restaurant in the delightful hill town of Bonnieux in the Luberon. The starters, the fish and the meat dishes, not to mention the desserts, have a real Provencale aspect to them. Just when you think nouvelle cuisine has altered... More
