I went here with my family for dinner and had the most fantastic meal. Their evening "formule" offers a fantastic selection if food for a reasonable 40-50 euros. My main course of lamb with courgette ravioli was absolutely delicious. I have never had lamb that tasted that good. It have a whole new meaning to "melt in the mouth". The... More

We came back after a year to "L'Arome" and were again not disappointed, but very delighted. It is not your typical Michelin-star restaurant, rather a down-to-earth friendly, unpretentious place with a small menu and delicious food. We enjoyed foie gras as starter, and then scallops in a shellfish broth - excellent. I personally also loved the cheese selection and the... More

Probably the best lamb I have ever had. All dishes were tasteful and creative. Very nicely presented. They deserve a Michelin star.

My girl friend and i had a terrible experience at this pretentious restaurant. It started good. Friendly lady showing us to our table. We receiveved olives and a little green amuse made of peas which was good. First courses we ordered fish (truit) tartare. It was hardly edible, both the fish itself and the lentils around it were extremely sour... More

Perhaps it was an off night. We stayed a week in the village of Bonnieux, and saw the crowded restaurant every day - for both lunch and dinner, and thought we would make it the venue for our last evening in town. We reserved for Saturday night, and were seated at a decent table on the outside terrace. We ordered... More

We booked lunch on line via their website. The process was very easy and we received a response back before the next day. Between the four of us we sampled the menu marche, the menu gourmand and chose from the a la carte menu. Each and every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The fixed menu was perfectly constructed... More

Ok so this is my first online review of a restaurant and I call Myself a 'foodie'. This place deserves only the best reviews. The menu selection is expanse and allows for a few budgets. The food is impeccable. The restaurant was full and so service suffered slightly so I would suggest to go for an earlier lunch or dinner... More

We had dinner at this restaurant twice while in Bonnieux, and found it to be a real charmer. The young waitress looked delighted when she recognized me on our return trip...she was so sweet, she told us the space had been originally been a cave for wine storage, and proceeded to show us the current wine cellar. The food was... More

We went to L'arome with high expectations after a little research. Whilst there was nothing that could be faulted including the food, the expected Wow Factor was missing. We were in a party of five so had a good cross section of the menu. Service was very good as is ambience.
