Fabulous atmosphere. Traditional, delicious and fun.

This seemed to be the place to eat, and I believe it is. It was packed with people waiting for tables inside and out. Being early April after one of the first warm sunny days of the year the temperature dropped as the stars came out, this did not deter outside dinners. We thankfully got a table... read more

Great food and vibe, lovely wine and friendly helpful and hard working staff. You can't book so either turn up early or be prepared to wait because this place is popular. I shared the entrecôte with a friend and it was fantastic, I got it as the chef cooked it so it was rare but not still kicking, tasted amazing.... More

Really good, down to earth French bistrot. We had swordfish with broccoli purée and shrimp in a garlicky "persillade" sauce. Delicious, simple, friendly service and affordable. I highly recommend it!

The bistro definitely has the best atmosphere in Saint Martin with a more lovely feel as people come off their boats to eat, with day trippers and holiday makers alike. It is a busy place, and to make a table for service you really need to arrive by 7.00pm for an aperitif - although you won't be hurried away towards... More

We ate here this evening and what we found was (a) friendly staff; (b) lovely food; and (c) a buzzing atmosphere. My wife and I shared the Côte de boeuf which was excellent but the rest of the menu looks varied and interesting as well with a mix of meat and seafood. The place was very busy by the time... More

This restaurant is one we have eaten at previously and we knew the service was poor however, this experience beggars belief. We waited for the beginning of service and made it known we wished to eat, we, unlike other patrons, were ignored. Strangely when we asked for the bill for our drinks we were acknowledged but in a very offhand manner.... More

This is a lovely quaint restaurant with blackboards for menus changing on a daily basis and fresh sea food.

On arrival, the terrace tables were full but we were offered a drink at the bar (much needed after the morning bike ride), we were seated outside within 5 minutes and had a quick plat du jour and the house terrine, 2 green salads, 2 glasses of rosé = content mother and daughter. Friendly staff, great location.

This place served the worst food with the worst service I have ever had in 30 years visiting France. Plus, it's a rip-off. Go to Baleine Blu

Loved eating on the harbour in a restaurant with lots of buzz and atmosphere. Short menu on the chalkboard, all cooked and presented to high standards. Côte Du Boef was especially good and chips were divine. Good value too considering the quality. Get there early as they don't take bookings.
