Nice restaurant across the port from the the old chateau (castle) walls. Limited menu - come early to get more choices. No menu deals (on Saturday anyway). The restaurant is housed in an all-wood yellow cabin (oyster farmer style) at the edge of the parking and at the water's edge overlooking the water channel that separates the mainland from the Ile d'Oleron.
