A good experience

At face value, most of the mid range restaurants in La Flotte are very similar but Le Nautic is a good choice due to its sheltered position and its obliging staff. Unfortunately, the food can be variable (the Mussels were poor but the Tuna was fine) but our table of 8 people all had an enjoyable... read more

We're well versed in finding good food, reasonably priced restaurants, and avoiding the tourist traps in France, this one was no exception. We had an entrée and a plat, wine and coffee, all the dishes looked great and tasted wonderful and though not being a great fish fan I said, ' I can have a steak anytime, but to be... More

For the central quayside location & menu of 20 euros, this restaurant offered good value, more than acceptable food & a great view. The fish of the day was enjoyable. Lots of steak-frites was being delivered to other tables. The downside was that because it was so busy, staff were hurried & off-hand. Sitting inside was noisy at times with... More

Three evening meals here, which says something about the restaurant. Once we went for the menu, three courses for 20 euros which was OK. And twice we ate from the a la carte menu and had really good meals with decent wine. Outside very pleasant, and cosy inside when the weather was not quite so warm. Seemed very popular and... More

Very well located on the harbour in this wonderful town. The service was great and the food was adequate. We had the Plat du Jour - Fish soup, Mussels, Chocolate. Mousse.. All fine but nothing special. Certainly one of the cheaper options on the harbour so pretty good value. It was busier than most others, probably because of the price.... More

We had a great unfussy meal here. Downstairs was full but we got a window table upstairs. Great view, good food, waiter learning but still pleasant.

A lovely little olde world restaurant right on the quai. We had lunch there and had the menu de jour. It was superbly cooked and was good value for money. Definitely would visit again

Okay it was a fixed price dinner menu €15 for 2 courses but still no excuse for serving mussels that had clearly been lurking since lunch time and although the next course was home made there was about 90% mashed potato and a hint of fish in the fish pie. Keep walking would be my advice.

Busy but nice table in outside area. Fish soup excellent followed by sardines. Smoked salmon good but steak for my wife was fairly bloody for medium such that we had to exchange dishes but should have known that when in France ask for bien cuit. Rather plain crepe. Would have benefitted from some lemon.
