We ordered the degustation menu with the wine pairing and lost patience after the fourth course. It didn't seem right that they served the same wine twice, as opposed to pairing a specific wine with each course. Also, the service was too slow and the meal took almost four hours. The food was good, but not exceptional, and the dessert... More

This is a Michelin 1-star restaurant with a brilliant lunch menu. Three exquisite courses with little extras at the beginning and end. Great wines by the glass, very attentive, helpful waiters. A sublime experience. Not to be missed for anyone who likes great French food.

After a break of some years from La Tour, we were so impressed on Saturday July 19th, that we returned for the final evening of our holiday on Wednesday July 23rd! As the second occasion was the first night of the new menus, over the two meals we were able to enjoy a selection of different dishes. Whilst the sweets... More

Went to this restaurant on 16 July. Food was ok mostly although to serve up raw kidneys was a no-no. The service though was very poor. Our white wine was taken out of the wine bucket and left on the side so that they could put another table's wine in it, not very polite. The cheese waiter was then very... More

We have dined at the the Le Tour on three occasions and been disappointed twice which considering the price is a disgrace. Ambience is nice and service is good but the food has been disappointing. I doubt we will ever go again.

La Tour is handily situated in the corner of the main square, an old building that has been sympathetically renovated to retain the original features with all the comfort of the new. It's a relaxed environment to enjoy some innovative, high quality cooking which often integrates Asian influences with classic French ingredients. The presentation of the dishes is outstanding as... Four of us had the menu dégustation with wine pairing for EUR 110.00 per person. The service warmed up as the meal progressed. We asked for local wines. It was a great experience, what you would expect for a one star restaurant. I can't say that the food had regional character, but it was nicely presented, visually attractive, and had... More

A restaurant with a Michelin star where you can have a 5 course menu at just 42 €. That's a must-try and we don't regret we went there!!!! Apart from the 5 course menu you some amuse bouches and a starter before the menu. The dishes are inventive, yet well balanced. Nice winelist with all the essential of the Sancerre... More

Very competent meny. Good service. BUT the winelist is ok, but not more. Difficult to find good matured wine in restaurants! But we had first a Sancerre blanc 2009 from Redde(one of the best producer) and then a pinot noir 2008 from Alphonse Mellot (one of the best pinot noir producer).

Smashing place to eat and at pretty good prices (compared to London and Paris anyway!) - €41 for a 5 course meal, plus your standard amuse bouche. I've eaten in some great restaurants, and am a food fusspot, but this was still one of the best meals I've ever had. Seasonal produce, beautifully cooked (the best pork I've ever had... More
