I did the chef's menu with wine pairing twice in the same week. The menus were completely different and both were exceptional. I recommend sticking to the Sancerre only wines for the pairing.

did not like the big dog at the door that wandered in and out, the food and wine were delicious and the pacing was good

La tour is THE posh and expensive restaurant in town. I waited to take my friend there for her birthday - it was to be a treat! While the entree and main courses were lovely - the dessert a disappointment. But of greater disappointment was the service. Maybe we hit it on an off night - I know it is... More

There is a set menu, however I am unable to eat any dairy products and they were able to accommodate me with a wonderful meal.

We had heard much about this restaurant prior to dining there. We were delighted to get reservations. However, although the downstairs is elegant and deserving of its reputation, the upstairs, where we were seated is cafeteria contemporary and entirely unsuitable for purportedly fine dining. We have eaten in French restaurants on the highway that had more atmosphere and, sad to... More

Very refined dining experience at reasonable prices. Always busy so need to make a reservation in advance.

The 5 courses €42 menu at La Tour is very good value with an offering of nice flavours and imaginative cooking. There is obviously a fantastic choice of Sancerre wine and I recommend that you let the sommelier select some of the smaller producers for you, we had a deliciously smooth bottle of red reserve de Marcigoué. A very enjoyable... More

Had dinner here with two friends and went for tasting menu and while the amuse bouche and first course were excellent the fish course was just ok , with the main course we were not told that the chicked was off the menu until we ordered, the duck which replaced it was compltely overpowered with butternut squash which was served... We ordered the degustation menu with the wine pairing and lost patience after the fourth course. It didn't seem right that they served the same wine twice, as opposed to pairing a specific wine with each course. Also, the service was too slow and the meal took almost four hours. The food was good, but not exceptional, and the dessert... More

This is a Michelin 1-star restaurant with a brilliant lunch menu. Three exquisite courses with little extras at the beginning and end. Great wines by the glass, very attentive, helpful waiters. A sublime experience. Not to be missed for anyone who likes great French food.
