We stopped here on our way back to Cherbourg after doing the beach landings tour. Initially chosen for its view of the beach, we soon realised that we were to pay for this. No menu for drinks, so we ordered coffees which were terrible. We had no cash left so we're to pay by card, the waiter was not happy... More

Dear Sir, Dear Madame, We thank you very much to have taken the time to share your experience about our property. Regarding the menu for the bar, we don't have one but the price list is available on the window of our property, so no surprise for anyone who really wants to know the price before ordering. Also, you have... More

Great view of the English Channel and the remains of the Mulberry harbor from the Allies' invasion of Normandy. Our food was decent but not great.

Great place for coffee as it overlooks the sea but most expensive during two weeks in Normandy. Opted out of lunch offering as it was significantly more expensive than other restaurants in town at 25 euros for table de jour.

This is a terrific restaurant - not an inexpensive one. However, if you select a fixed prix menu, you get to try a selection of interesting dishes. I had the fish soup which was served with croutons and parmesan cheese. That was followed by Skatefish, which was tasty, but I'd not choose again. Our waiter was excellent - making suggestions... If you are visiting the D-Day beaches in Normandy, you may want to eat in this town — Arromanches-les-Bains. The other towns and landing beaches do not really have much to offer for eating. This restaurant can be a good choice. We had lunch here while visiting the area. The restaurant offers good food with a great view on the... More

We had dinner here with our tour group. The food was good, but when compared to other French foods, it was not outstanding. The dessert, however, was better than the entire or main course. It was a large portion of a dish based on chocolate mousse and was quite good.

I have been here twice in the last six months - dined a la carte with three others out on the terrace overlooking the harbour in the September sunshine ; and again with a tour group of around 40, inside on a cold wet day, off a set menu. Both times, the service was exemplary, and food sensational . Good... More

I'm always wary of restaurants in hotels right by the sea - style over substance? I've noticed other reviews say avoid the fish but the skate, fish and chips and fish soup were all lovely - nicely cooked and presented. Compared to where else we ate in France I didn't notice that the wine was dearer as one reviewer commented.... More

We came here twice during our stay in Arromanches as it was good and is right on the water. The dish that stands out the most is the mussels. We had some of the first of the season so they were a little small but definitely fresh and delicious. Both the marinière and à la crême was fantastic. The sancerre... More
