Pleasant family owned restaurant

Had the plate du Jour. Tomato tartare, steak with a pepper sauce and of course French Fries. Creme Flambe for dessert. The other entrees looked very tasty as well. $$ or less.

The food is not too great but the staff are lovely and it's the best place to meet for drinks and see the Vets during the celebrations!

Was very hungry last evening but. At 7pm this venue specializing in local foods was out of special of the day......muscles. They didn't even have pasta for kids meal After hearing of all things they didn't have ordered the tomato stuffed with shrimp to find a mayonnaise filled tomato with one lonely shrimp in it. And... Ordered the scallop special... More

Dear Client, It happens to sell all the mussels in one day... that means that are the best mussels in Normandy Coast. Scallops (Coquilles Saint Jacques) are served with carrots purée and potatoes purée and if you find a restaurant that will serve you more than 12 of them just for you let us know. Because we serve 12 of... More

I was there on tour with my brother-in-law. He had a sandwich which he liked, I had mussels. They were amazing!. We sat outside and enjoyed the air and the view. It was a fantastic experience. By the way, I couldn't finish those mussels and my brother-in-law's sandwich was too big for him to help.

I dropped in for lunch here whilst I was in the area, I had a first class lunch of Onion soup, fish and chips, ice cream and a coke for less than €20 (excluding tip)

This was a good find. We have 2 small kids (3 and 5) and were worried about some of the reviews about the other restaurants. We were happy to find this little place, that not only had a children's menu (and coloring page and pencil crayons) but also a vegetarian menu selection. The service was very good, and the food... I was more impressed with the location of this restaurant than the food. The mussels were good but the rest of the food was just ok. I was hoping for much better than what we ate.

My brother and I were visiting the area to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D_Day landings (our father was part of the parachute landings) and we were booked on-line into the big hotel in the centre. Due to lack of facilities, cleanliness, comfort and friendliness we looked elsewhere to spend time and eat. Le Papagall came to the rescue. The... More

Stopped for lunch and sat outside. The menu is varied and is usefully also in english. We ordered 2 adult meals and 2 child meals. The kids meals were the uk equivalent of a farmfoods dish heated up in a microwave which does not justify the menu prices. The order of a cheeseburger could not be amended to omit the... More

My wife and I are very impressed by the cleanliness and excellent service you gave us. I travelled along the whole world, mostly in 5 ***** hotels. You are the first in my experience that supply EVERY day new bedsheets and fresh towels. Room #2 was superb and although it is an ancient building, you managed to equalize modern 2014.... More
