We were staying for five nights in Arromanches and had already eaten on two occasions in the 6 Juin and once in La Rapaille so we were looking for an alternative choice. It is fair to say that it was a little disconcerting when we approached La Celina to find it totally empty yet the 6 Juin just across the... More

Arromanches, to me, is a pretty touristy town with all the restaurants catering to the tour groups. I was so happy to find this place at the end of the main street. I had a delicious, and filling, lunch. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Skip the creperies and seek out this restaurant. You'll be glad you did!

We stayed in the town for a week just after the 'DDay 70 years on' commemorations. As we expected, the town was very busy, but all the same, we felt some of the restaurants were exploiting the event by packing people in, for expensive and poor quality food. Le Celina did not - friendly, attentive staff, spotlessly clean tables, nice... More

The restaurant offers a reasonably good choice with different ‘menus’. The ‘volaille’ off the 14€90 menu was very nice & a good-sized portion although the dessert was a little small & none of the dishes came with fruit or veg. The service was good & the staff pleasant. All in all a good, informal restaurant.

We decided to pop in for a drink and quick bite to eat. We were shown to a table which was clean and nicely presented. The menus arrived and we started to look through them. Our children wanted just orange juice. We found orange juice and then noticed the €4 price. After a quick look through the menu and not... More

Was here with a group so I can't comment on prices. Excellent salad and cheese plate, tasty soup, main course was excellent. (Meat) No issues with English. Incredible chocolate dessert. Very good espresso.

Quality of meal was excellent, we all had steaks which were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. Dessert, fruit salad, was delicious! Prices compared to the other restaurants were good. Service was good and they could speak English! Very friendly and welcoming. Merci beaucoup!

Le Celina is not a pretentious restaurant, but it is well located a block from the Museum of the Debarquement in Arromanches, and serves good food at attractive prices. There is a small wine list, including half bottles and wines by the glass. I had a Normandie pizza, and others in my party had excellent fish soup ("the best of... More

There aren't many choices here, but try elsewhere. Pizzas are too cheesy. Avoid the pork with cider. Beer and muscles are pretty good.

This restaurant has a vast menu choice but unfortunately the dishes that we sampled were a little disappointing. The pork with cider looked like a couple of slices of cold meat with some warm cider sauce and the moules smelt decidedly unpleasant. We would not go back.
