We ate twice here and would have eaten there more often had they not been closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The beef bourgignon and walnut ice cream were delicious and my Husband loved the chicken and lentils - both on the 21 Euro set menu. Wine of the house was extremely cheap and very good. The service was friendly, even... More

We had dinner here twice while staying in Domme and both were outstanding. It's a small family run restaurant, all of whom are very friendly. The goat cheese salad was delicious and the beef Bourguignon was the best we have ever had. Delicious desserts as well such as the iced walnut souffle and the creme brulee. Very traditional French cooking... More

Have visited Domme on many occasions but have never eaten there. This auberge came highly recommended by some French friends and it did not disappoint! My husband chose the menu for €15.50 and I had the €21 menu. Both were superb value for money. The confit de canard was delicious. A superb location to share a bottle of wine, enjoy... More

We had the 15.50 Euro menu on our first night and returned the following evening to try the 21 Euro menu. We noticed that another couple did the same thing! Both menus were brilliant value. Meals were beautifully presented, wonderful flavours and the service friendly and faultless. This restaurant is a must-visit if you come to Domme.

We rented house across square from restaurant. We enjoyed good food, often quite beautifully presented, at good value. Owner's wife very sweet. We ate there twice, both times outside on terrace facing the square. Cepes are in season now so had it both times, once in omelette and once stewed in wine - delicious! All sorts of diners including families,... More

We have greatly enjoyed eating here in the past.  This year, a set menu lunch (about 15 euros) which was very good and good value, and then an evening when we picked off the menu.  What we had was good, and its very pleasant inside the restaurant but we found the menu a little disappointing in its choices and prices.... A favourite for low cost dining and a real family restaurant. Neither the cooking nor the wine list will win awards but you'd be missing the point if you approached this establishment on that basis. A warm and lovely family establishment serving good value local dishes with a commanding view of the comings and going of the ancient Place de... More

We enjoyed a quiet evening here in September. We had a lovely home cooked meal with no fuss but prompt service. Mum and daughter very friendly. Did their best to help us who had little French.

visited in mid september. Mom does the waiting dad does the cooking. Very friendly and good food, but very homely, lacks some of the finesse you get used to in other restaurants around the area, but still worth a visit and we were not dissapointed.

AdlR is a lovely traditional, family-run restaurant that's consistent and good value at its price-point. I highly recommend the fois gras with figs & goats cheese salad starters and the confit duck main. Desserts are particularly good (all of them!). The wine list is simple but suits the food well. The Montbazillac I particularly enjoyed. The only dish not so... More
