Local dishes cooked in the hotel restaurant. I don't know how they do it, but their food is outstanding. Buffet breakfast is the best anywhere. Many different kinds of meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, hard rolls. You won't need lunch!

Loved the Hirschbraten, Kaiserschmarrn, the soups, the service, everything excellent! Preferred the outside seating in the front of the hotel.

We liked the setting. Service was good, and the food marvelous. We would go there again in a heartbeat.

The food was fabulous. I had a venison stew which was outstanding. I am one of those travelers bothered by having to pay for bottled water when I only want tap water and the prices were high given it was an out of the way small Austrian town. It was our "nice" meal and we enjoyed it.

Gabi and her staff will cater to your needs and help you with your selections. The Hotel and Dinning room area have a beautiful décor and a nice wine menu. It is a great place for a romantic dinner. Enjoy.

We have stayed at the Hotel Maximillian four times now and had multiple dinners in the restaurant over the years. Each have been wonderful! If you are staying at the hotel, you cannot miss out on the restaurant. It is delicious and convenient. It specializes in local cuisine and has a variety of beer and wine available. Service is above... More

My husband and I decided to try eating here because we heard that they could accommodate a gluten-free diet (I have Celiac). We made a reservation in the morning with no difficulty. I explained about my diet, and they were very accommodating, telling me that they could make almost anything I wanted gluten-free. They were able to make a gluten-free... More

They offer typical local cuisine, very good quality. Servings were bigger than we were able to eat up. The cuisine is open only till 9 pm then you can order only something small.

The restaurant serves food of various cuisines, but you definitely have to come here for local specialities - Schnitzel, Würstl, etc, But most of all I recommend home-made Kaisemschmarrn - absolutely delicious!
