Kansas City style smoked ribs!

Having had so many memorable meals at El Camello, when I needed my wife's birthday party catered for, I knew who to call. With the mixture of Expat and Nica guests, it was not an easy task to please the different palates but they succeeded! Everybody loved the Smoked ribs and chicken wings. The... read more

We ate succulent fish at this place with a few Toña. Great table inside in the open sky dinning room witch is cool but there is some mousquitos so put on some repellent and everything is just great. Great staff who are taking care of you. Would go again.

This place has good coktails and different food. Meze or other oriental offers can change the regime with gallopinto and the not so tender meat. For a change give this restaurant a try. Across the street in the yellow restaurant are very good ceviche !!

The owner Leroy puts a lot of soul into his business and it shines through on his food and beverages. I don't tend to write a lot of reviews as I dine out is a lot of restaurants with my work. But when I find an amazing place it's worth sharing. Avoid the other restaurants on the main drag as... More

I eat at El Camello several times a month and have found it the be quite satisfying. The recent addition of some new menu items helped a lot to keep it interesting. Last night's experience was really poor however and the owner, who was not working at the time should be made aware. The restaurant was not full at any... More

This restaurant came highly recommended from a few different people, so we decided to check it out despite my desire to stick with more local cuisine. It was mediocre at best. I think it might be more appealing to people traveling for a longer period who are looking for a little variety. We had the churassco and avocado fries...ok but... More

This was the first place we ate at on our visit to Granada. It was nice to try some different food as most of the restaurants in the area offer the same thing. The waitress was very helpful and checked-in a lot with us. Not many choices for children...my daughter had the spaghetti which she enjoyed. I felt the prices... More

The service was slow. The food was bland and over priced. Feedback to the owner was not welcomed. Street not safe my friend got mugged close to the restaurant.

We have eaten at El Camelo several times and it is always consistent. It is a little Gem located on the corner of a nice street with easy and convenient parking. The atmosphere is bright and the service is good. The owner is obviously passionate about his food and visits the tables to chat and inquire. The menu is very... More

It was great Indian food and nice to take a break from Nica food. Had Chicken Satay. Shared eggplant dip and deep fried avocado (different) for starters. Everything was fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly.
