Great value

Good food and cheap beer right on the main street. I don't think you will find cheaper or more authentic food around there. Service was poor going on terrible though but we just sat out front people watching in no hurry anyway so weren't too bothered.

i have been here with my boyfriend for a dinner, the staff has been kind and helpfull in suggesting the most typical dishes. the table was in the street outside and was nice to see guitar players and other performers. we took 3 dishes and 3 beers and paid 22 usd. we loved it and would recommend it.

We ate at this restaurant for lunch one day at the advice of staff at our hotel. We wanted to try authentic Nicaraguan food and this is apparently the place to go. We ordered three typical Nicaraguan dishes I had researched prior to the trip: Indio Viejo, Nactamal, and Viggoron. All three dishes were delicious and cheaply priced. We also... More

We ate there two nights and it was really good. We took a table on the street to be in the action. The food was really great and the staff kind and looking to your needs. It's located on the principale street so there is a lot of actions at night and it's fun.

Excellent typical Nica fare. Good service! Food in Nica is rather mild but you can get picante and salsa if you like more kick. Margarita was excellent but more alcohol than you get in your usual US Margarita!

The Indio Viejo and Nacatamal is to die for. Do not pass up on a chance like this to eat real Nicaragua food. Nothing else does the food justice like this place. You will certainly find locals here as well, which is a good indicator.

Would have missed this place if our guide didn't point it out to us. Granada is filled with touristy restaurants with westernized food, so it was nice to find a place where we could try some local dishes like Indio Viejo. When we went do lunch we were the only foreigners in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

The food here was fine rather than great and it is a very simple place but locals dine here so probably quite authentic

We ate there last night and enjoyed our meals but found that there was a 25% charge on the bill for tax and tip, but the waiter made a point of telling us that it did not include the tip (typically 10%). We took the check to the manager to find out why we were charged extra if the tip... More

We had a delicious local meal here. I highly recommend the cerdo con yucca (pork with yucca) and indio viejo. The cerdo con yucca is similar to vigorón. It is roasted pork meat with yucca and the same type of salad used in vigoron (cabbage and tomato). Indio viejo is another typical Nica dish. It's prepared with a fat piece... More
