We loved this little garden cafe. Lots of good salads and sandwiches with tons of vegetarian options. Fresh and tasty, it was a great lunch spot.

It was hot, we were hungry. El Garaje hit the spot. I had a delicious sandwich, my children split a grilled cheese and my husband had a tandoori chicken pita (or something like that). There was not a spot of food left on our plates. Highly recommend. We were seated next to a fan that helped cool us down and... More

Everything I'd heard about this place is spot-on - had one of the most delicious meals I've had during my two months in Nicaragua. Make it a must-do!

El Garage is a bit off of the beaten path in Granada (ie not in the heart of La Calzada) but well worth a visit. The Canadian hosts are friendly and the food delicious. Highly recommended.

This place was a huge surprise to find in Granada, some of the best food we have eaten....ever!!! Not just for Central America, there food measures up to any thing I have eaten in Australia. There salads are huge and my favourite was the spicy pulled pork sandwich. The menu specials change weekly but never seemed to disappoint. Great food... More

A truly delicious meal and great value. I ordered the seasonal veggie quesadilla and it was huge! With a healthy heaping of coleslaw, I took half to go. If you're craving some veggies, this is the place to come. They also have delicious-sounding meat dishes and some interesting int'l options in addition to burritos, quesadillas and salads. Just note the... More

We kept hearing rave reviews from other travelers about El Garaje, but they close for dinner at 6:30 (I think it's later in high season) so we kept missing out. I'm so glad we finally got there in time because we had a great meal. This is a small place that is not in the central restaurant area, but is... More

I don't know how they do it, but the Canadian couple that own El Garaje consistently come up with menus that one might expect to only find in a high end restaurant. Fewer items, for sure, but their daily offerings show imagination and each offering is well prepared and delicious. My wife and I had their moussaka, good as any... More

In our one night trip to granada we ended up eating here twice. Delicious food, very friendly owners and generous portions so it is good value for money. I had the Moroccan chicken couscous which is excellent and my boyfriend had the pulled pork sandwich and a burrito the other time. Cannot recommend this place enough! Also the location is... More
