Amazing fresh seafood

It a long trip from the touristy side of Koh Chang, but the road is scenic and the further away from White Sand you get, the more you begin to feel the spirit of the island and Thailand. Although there is only one road, Salak Phet Seafood is not easy to find, but take your time (you are on... read more

Every time we visit Koh Chang we spend a morning / afternoon going for lunch at Salak Phet seafood. It's a long drive but nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and the fresh seafood is worth the drive. Not to forget the view from the restaurant. Definitely going back again.

We heard many many thai review saying that salak pet seafood is a must visit restaurant when you are in koh chang so we give it a try. Little did we know it was the worst place I have been to not to mention hell of far. Don't go there you will be disappointed 40 km drive doesn't seem too... More

It is unlikely you will find prepared seafood fresher than this unless it is still swimming. Well prepared and tasty, your meal is literally enjoyed on the water surrounded by forested hills. Definitely worth the trip.

After a year in thailand I've eaten plenty of fish but this was some of the best. There were three of us and we ordered a snapper each, one garlic, one lemon and one sweet and sour. All were very tasty, a good size and seemed perfectly fresh. Also, the location is stunning. Definitely reccomend.

Rode motorbike from White Sand Beach for a look at the quiet side. Discovered this place and had some deliciously fresh seafood on the water, good friendly service and spaceous open air restaurant. Also bought some seafood products from the counter, will eat there again next trip to Ko Chang.

A bit difficult place to find without any thai language knowledge but was worth the while. We took what the waiter recommended to us and it was fresh and delicious.

When we ordered fish someone from the kitchen went out onto the pier and pulled one out of their many nets to bring it back to the kitchen. Also amazing steamed clams.

One of the freshest seafood in my experience. The restaurant is located at Salak Phet Bay, 30 Km away from White Sand Beach, Koh Chang. A view of quiet bay there is really make my dinner enjoyable. The menu offer a variety of Thai seafood dishes with a resonable price. I have been at the restaurant for many times and... More
