It is my favorite restaurant Laxman Jula. Good food and mostly a relaxed atmosphere. This year, however, the waiters are not as friendly as the boys that were there last year (2013): I guess they have a language problem as they speak neither English nor Hindi and just are able to bring the things you point at in the menu.... Located in the very center of Lachsman Jhula, this restaurants mostly caters to tourists. They have a rather extensive menu with a number of international cuisines. They also seem to cater to Russians since they have a menu written in Russian as well as Russian food items. I found the food to be hit or miss. Sometimes it was very... More

The place is located on the third floor of a building but easily accessible from two entrances. It provides an excellent view of the Ganges, Trayambakeshwar Temple and the famous bridge. I ordered Dhal Makani with chapati with ginger honey lemon drink. I have learned to instruct every Indian eating place to take it easy on the salt because every... More

It was convenient from our hotel to have breakfast. This is one of the couple of restaurant that are in the Swiss cottages area. They all seem to have a similar menu....so a little boring. They could really make lots of improvements. Did enjoy the fresh pineapple juice! Even though I feared for my health very time I drank it.... More

The food is fine and value for money, but need to improve the quality of break fast. I really surprise when asked for butter garlic toast, where found lots semi fried garlic which make the dish horrible. However the other food like Pizza, Choclate Custard are very good.

I love this place. When I was there (June-July 2013) unfortunately they didn't have wifi, which would have been the icing on the cake. However, having stayed in Rishikesh for two months, I felt that their food was a cut above most of the other places I ate at. Their ingredients just seemed to be fresher than in other places,... we stayed at the upper of this restaurant so that we had many chances to go this Oasis restaurant, we tried some breakfast menus, food is ok, staffs are friendly, but it's just ok, not good or not very tasty, little expensive compared to the other restaurants around here. 1-2 times are enough, oh you can have free wifi here,... Wi-Fi is a real necessity for me and it was working here 95% of the time (great for India) and was free. Food was good and well priced. Lot's of people from all over the world with many of them happy to talk.

This is my favourite western restaurant in this part of town. Service is good although they get confused sometimes (one reminder is all that is needed unlike other western restaurants close by). The hummus and mixed grilled vegetables dishes here are amazing. After 5 months in India and having missed no food from home their rosemary roasted potatoes have changed... More

The inside is cozy, the food is a bit above average. They offer a number of Russian and Ukraininan dishes all of which are absolutely not what one would expect to be served with. Indian dishes are well done. Sizzlers are probably best in town. Pizzas are okay. The waiter could be a bully.
