very good

Found this by accident while driving around the Blue Ridge Mountains on a rainy day. Had the best pulled pork ever. They seemed to have a great beer menu and a great idea of "sample" sizes. Wish I could have tried a few but I was the driver so alas none for me!!!!!

We were there two years ago and weren't very impressed with the beer then. The seating situation was also a mess, you couldn't find a hostess and we ended up sitting at the bar. However, it was an adorable place with a great outdoor area and some cute shops around it. So, when we were back in town on 4-18-15... More

Dear Carrie C., Thank you for your recent visit to Wild Wolf Brewing Company and for also taking the time to write about your experience. As you mentioned, we no longer have a "shopping village" as we had previously. We are now using one of the previous stores as a dedicated Wild Wolf gift shop and the row of shops... More

This is a great place to hang out and eat some really good food and drink some really good beer. I went with my family for lunch and had that Ruben… Oh my so good! They cure their own meats and have healthy alternatives. Friendly environment and great food, what else could you ask for?

We went there for Sunday brunch to find a new menu that included pulled pork starters, eggs benedict, chicken cordon bleu, and of course a wide range of beers. The service is excellent and the food is fresh and locally raised, reared, and grown! Children played in the exterior and the area is "friendly to friendly dogs." Local musicians played.... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants we go to at least twice per month for lunch or dinner and have always had great service, great food and great beer. I'm sorry to rate a 1. But their Easter Brunch was a gigantic BUST. We began looking over the menus after seating at 11:00AM in the BRUNCH section of the... More

This bar and resturant probably had the best mixture of food and beer that I have ever had. All of the food is made on site and a lot of it is mixed with the ingridents they use to brew their own beer. Their BBQ is to die for!! I had the pulled pork sandwich and my traveling partner had... More

We stayed in Wintergreen, but for one of the evenings we decided to venture away from the resort. This restaurant was not far at all, maybe 15 min. The food was amazing, very fresh, tasted great, excellent beer choices and they even had a band for live entertainment. My boys enjoyed watching the people prepare the fresh sausage. Highly recommend.

Have made several trips to Wild Wolf in the past few years...have to say, this might have been my best dinner yet. Delicious fish tacos, the beer flight was perfect - I think everyone at the table was very impressed. Glad to have this place back on my radar for yummy lunches and dinners!

Out in the area celebrating 2 birthdays Sunday and decided on Wild Wolf for dinner as we have eaten here previously and generally always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately our experience was not great this time but this time it was the service...or lack thereof. The weather was beautiful so decided to sit outside. The hostess escorted us outside and told... More

While visiting Wintergreen ski resort for my birthday we decided to leave the resort grounds to visit a few of the local breweries and dining spots. We ended up walking out of Wild Wolf Brewing Company which is currently rated #4 and instead going to Devils Backbone Brewing Company just up the road for dinner. There were a number of... More
