Review of just Bar Area

I would have liked to review the food, but I ate well right before I came here, so this is just on the vibe of the grounds and the Bar Room. The Grounds are beautiful with a nice outside seating area. The menu looks diverse and well composed for any palate. In the main bar, I say and had a... read more

The beer flight (we tried all the beers) was fine. Their beers are all varied and interesting. The fried pickle chips and the accompaning dip were excellent. Our meals however, were somewhat disappointing. Although the portions were extremly generous, the meatloaf was basically cold and had much too much glaze on it. The Cordon Blue was prepared with salty ham... More

The atmosphere is simply fantastic, and there are MANY choices (bar, restaurant, beer garden, ...). There is something for everyone. The food was great and southern, which we loved. The beer was good too, although we aren't big beer fans. Highly recommended when in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped by this weekend after some friends had recommended it. Sitting outside was a wonderful atmosphere on a beautiful day. I had the "Brewer's Blend Cheeseburger" and my wife had the "Wild Wolf Reuben". Both were fine, but not excellent, but the prices were a bit high in my opinion, for what you got. Both dishes are $13.50, one with... More

My husband and I stopped in for dinner on our trip to Wintergreen. We sat in the bar area since it was a holiday weekend and the tables inside and out had a wait time. My husband tried the 2 flights of beer they offer (the beers they make). And we shared the pulled pork sliders and sweet potato fries.... More

Great outdoor seating area, pet friendly too! Great BBQ and everything tasted so fresh! Youcould smell the smoker in the back filled with pork and chicken. Great craft beers as well to round off an appetizing meal. This was a great start to our girl's weekend.

5 stars is a rating I seldom use, but when thinking about this place I could not think of anything to downgrade. When we arrived on a beautiful day in May all the outside seats were taken. We were ushered through the bar to a covered patio that had large windows that could be lowered. there was only one other... More

I honestly could have sat there all day if they would have let me because it had such a laid back atmosphere. I didn't necessarily like the beer I chose but would not be opposed to trying other ones. I heard very good things about their food but we did not eat there on our visit. It was a great... More

We originally took a trip to the mountains to try out some of the micro brews. Tried out Blue Mountain first, great beer, mediocre prepackaged tasting food. The next day we hit Wild Wolf in Nellysford, really about 8 miles from Blue Mountain brewery. Please, it is so worth the extra few miles. The outside is so pretty, with a... More

This was the last of our breweries on the Brew Ridge Trail and it was a good close to a great weekend. Another beautiful VA brewery in a stunning setting, and another partially gravel parking lot. What's the deal with all the gravel here, especially when this area is perfect for riding a motorcycle? We had eaten earlier so we... More
