If you're looking for a place that's stayed true to itself since it's beginning than this is it. It doesn't look like a "diner" on the outside but you are transported quickly to the 50s as soon as you step through the door.

We came in, sat down, didn't have a server, waited 15 minutes, and left. They were busy - I'll give them that - but really? Horrible.

New ownership? What has happened? French union soup - A bland sloppy micro wave mess. The chicken half..dry, smelled old. Cooked days ago and microwaved, poorly seasoned. I used to like this place, not for fine dining, but for decent and basic food. Ugh...I won't be back. Sad, very sad.

We took a chance and stopped at this charming diner. It's the real thang, checkered floor, metal tables n chairs, movie posters and memorabilia on all the walls. Brought back some fun memories. Best BLT and milkshake I've had in years. Service was good and the price right. A must if you're in this neck o' the woods.

Sorry, the "cajun" chicken sandwich was the driest, blandest, most pathetic attempt at cajun I was ever seen. The place was a dump and the restrooms were unclean.

Good home style food prepared simply. Result - good comfort food. Soups not great but chili, grilled cheese and dogs are great. Great mix of tourists and locals. Everyone is "hon or honey" to the waitress. Quick on/off to I-81.

The building is in desperate need of repairs. Food is okay little pricey for quality of food. Waitresses could dress more professional. Could be cleaner.

Stopped at this restaurant on our way back to North Carolina. It is right off the highway, easy off and on. The diner is decorated in 50's decor. The restaurant is old and is on Route 11. We both had the cheese steak subs which came with frence fries and cole slaw for $6.95. It was very good. Place is... More
