What a sunset tonight. You can't believe you are in Richmond as you look out over the water. Drinks were good plus there was a special on a bottle wine. I had a wedge salad and the crab and asparagus pizza. 1/2 price night on pizza. Good crust but got cold quickly. Had a warm cookie with syrup, and whipped... More

Very very expensive. Very over priced. I could not cut into my NY Strip steak with a steak knife. I thought maybe the knife was dull but no, the NY Strip was full of gristle and not edible. My wife's bowl of soup was cold and an embarrassing small portion. We ate there a month ago and her Egg Plant... More

My Husband and I live near The Boathouse. I have been there a few times for happy hour with friends. We have had some bad experiences here but this last time was the worst. 5 of us ate dinner on a Friday. We had a wonderful view of the lake and live music! I tried the fried green tomatoes....very good. We shared the clam chowder and it was some of the best I've had. I ordered the broiled seafood combination which included a crab cake, shrimp, scallops, roasted potatoes and vegetable. The scallops tasted... More

Shrimp and grits are very good. Smaller portion, so appetizer not a bad idea. Great atmosphere out on deck overlooking the lake, with a bar on the deck.

I have now been here 4-5 times trying to figure out why people go here. I have tried many different menu items and am always extremely underwhelmed. At best it is edible, and severely overpriced. Every time as we drive away my wife and I ask each other, why did we waste another dining experience here? The view is exceptional... More

My wife and I had dinner here while staying overnight in the area. The atmosphere and ambiance is wonderful. The restaurant is situated at the edge of the reservoir in a secluded, wooded area which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. We arrived shortly before sunset and, although we were seated inside, had a lovely view of the sun setting over... More

Gorgeous location for a wedding, especially at sunset! We enjoyed the outdoor ceremony, followed by appetizers and drinks in an indoor-outdoor room that was very open and airy, had a lovely fireplace, and overall good decor. The food was actually better than I expected for a wedding. It was fresh, tasty, and the variety of appetizers as well as seafood... More
