While Shogun is your typical hibachi Japanese restaurant, their service was outstanding. My husband is allergic to shellfish and the chef so willingly accommodated our special needs (saving the shrimp appetizers for the end of the meal - thank you to those not in our party for being cool about it!). The chef put on a great show and interacted... More

I just recently purchased a Shogun groupon here in Buffalo NY. Brought the family and my mother in law for the supposed deal for "$20.00 you get $40.00" worth for 4 people. So it makes it look like the 40.00 is almost going to cover the bill. Cause it includes the drinks also. No they just take 40.00 off your... More

We have ate there several times. Locally owned they never dissappoint, we drive from Chester where we have to pass 2 others to get there. Well worth it. Try the Shogun Roll, it's very yummy.

We had dinner at Shogun for the first time, and were pleased with our dinner--definitely plan on a return trip. We began with fried dumplings--delicious. The dinner included clear soup, then ginger salad--both tasty, but "ordinary." On to the hibachi dinner--hubby had shrimp, and I had filet, accompanied by fried rice and stir fry veggies. The rice was very good,... More

Just had dinner there tonight and had to write another review. This place is AWESOME. The food quantity is massive and I always end up taking some home. The atmosphere is lively and exciting with all the hibachi tables. Staff is courteous and always there when needed. It is tucked a little off the road but it is definitely worth... More

Service is always good. From the salad (excellent ginger dressing) to the main course all delicious! , Every time we eat here the service is very good & the food is excellent! Cooked perfectly, good size portions & just as entertaining chefs as the competition..EXCEPT it's much cleaner! After dining here many times & having no complaints I would never... More

I recently visited shogun after coming across a groupon for it. Had i not seen the groupon deal i would never had known this place existed; which would be a shame since their hibachi is delicious! I had the steak and scallops hibachi dinner and it was just perfectly cooked and seasoned. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in... More

When I was pregnant, my crazing was yum yum sauce (the white sauce) so we started trying every hibachi place around. Shoguns was by far the best! I got dumplings and yummy! Perfectly cooked!!! Not burnt or dry (yamatos are I have tried twice). I dipped them in the white sauce! Yummy. I ordered the hibachi chicken, my friend the... More

We have been to many hibachi places in the area and this is by far the best we've had. Food was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to return.

My first visit to this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The hibachi table was awesome and so entertaining. I loved the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. I had the steak and chicken combo. I cannot wait to have another meal at Shoguns !
