Casual Feel

Popped in here while visiting a friend who lives in the area. We went for the $5 HH wine specials. It was cozy on a cold day. They seem to cater to parties large and small. I didn't like the first Chardonnay I tried, the more expensive one and wondered if the staff poured a Riesling because it... read more

I have been going to Cafe Caturra for many years. On Mother's Day we stopped by for a late lunch and were greeted with a hostess stand and were told there was no room for "walk ins". OK figured maybe Mother's Day was special but went back a few weeks later and there was the hostess stand and someone to... More

Stopped by for a light Sunday dinner for the first time. We often go to McAllister's but we thought we give Cafe Caturra a try. We were not disappointed but not overly impressed. We had the burger bites and Applewood BLT and baked potato soup. No complaints on the food. I did request condiments from their server that never came... More

Enjoyed the atmosphere and choices of wine to hang out with friends and work associates. Sandwiches and soups are excellent.

This was our first time here and we were pleased. Brunch doesnt start until 10 am so some of their better options arent available if you go early morning. The cappacinno and house coffee were both great; the mocha was the best. As other reviews indicate, the portions may not be large but that's OK with us. I also recommned the... More

We've been eating at Cafe Caturra since it opened. It remains a cute spot to grab a salad or sandwich or grab a glass of wine with a friend. The last several trips have been increasingly disappointing, though. Over the years we have seen the sandwiches and salads get smaller and not at all impressive. At my last visit, I... More

I have been here for lunch and dinner several times and I'm never disapointed. Nice choices that reflect whats in season. Portions are reasonable as are the prices! This location has recently expanded which was greatly needed and is very nice!

I've lived in Midlothian for years, but I'm moving this week to a different city. When I've thought if the restaurants I will most, I though of Caturra. There are so many awesome things about this cafe, but I will name just a few: 1) They are local to this area, with a couple of other locations 2) I've visited... More

When I'm looking a something light for a lunch or dinner and a nice glass of wine I look to Café Caturra's . I have been coming here ever since the open and find their food consistent and well matched with many different wines you are able to order by the glass. my singular favorite is their crispy cheese with... From the welcoming fire in the cool months to the warm weather patio, this is a local favorite For sandwiches and lighter fare. The veggie panini is my favorite but the egg salad us great as well. The salads are wonderful, so hopefully you can squeeze in between the ladies who lunch, the computer users and everyone having impromptu meetings.... More
