We were staying at Massanutten Resort and wanted to check out the local diner and left quite impressed. The food was excellent and the service was quick and friendly. We will return during our next visit. Try the pancake tacos!

The restaurant serves fairly standard "diner" fare. It is somewhat small so there may be a wait around the time that Massanutten timeshares check out. Very few meals are acceptable to vegetarians, at least for breakfast. The thing that put us off about this restaurant was the "don't ask for crispy bacon" line printed right on the menu. My husband... More

Although not exceptional, you will get a good meal at a good price. They change the menu enough to keep it interesting. Open 7 days - most local restaurants are closed on Monday.

Stopped in for lunch one day. No cars and didn't see anyone inside but the soir was open. We were welcomed and took a table. Decided it was just a quiet time. Food good and staff very nice.

Good food, reasonable prices, and QUICK. Pulled pork sandwich, mac & cheese, and coleslaw - - homemade and all good.

Can't wait to come again to try something else. Had the biscuits and gravy with potatoes...loved it! Gravy could have been hotter but it was fantastic. My husband had the bacon and eggs with grits..the grits were different...probably would not reorder those but that is just a taste preference...they were cooked well. Does not reduce the 5 star status. Very... More

Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, stopping in at the Thunderbird Cafe is a good idea. The food is all homemade and quite tasty; service is great, and the prices are most reasonable. Next time in the area, try it for yourself and see!

If you want some unique breakfast foods, it's a good place to go. But the service wasn't good. Empty tables needed cleaned off while several people waited to be seated, but the waitresses were in NO hurry. After we were seated, can't say the service was any better

We stopped for dinner and returned for breakfast. The price was right but more importantly the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was fresh and homemade. The entrees we're welcoming to travelers and the service was quick, the southern cuisine peaked our interest and we were not disappointed. Beyond excellent!!
