Coffee is rather weak and refills are poured from a karafe (not a hot pot). 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, a petite biscuit, and grits costs $6.99 - seems high for the quality. The grits were great the first two times we ate here, but inedible on our third visit (all in a two week vacation period). Pancakes are tasty... More

The breakfast burrito is size of a small football and stuffed with bacon, eggs, and cheese. Ok sounds pretty standard, but the homemade mole sauce which covers it sets it apart. Delicious. My husband and teenage daughter had the cinnamon French toast and also loved their meals. They said the bread was light and fluffy. A different twist on the... More

The young man that was waiting on us was great. The food was wonderful. We had the chicken. a sandwich, and shared a dessert. I think he will one day he own his own restaurant. He had the personality. Whatever he is being paid, he deserves more.

Excellent service and food. Our waitress was attentive and fine with our sitting at a table to wait for a friend who was late. Had the French toast which was wonderful. They were also very accommodating to my friend who has a dairy allergy

Nothing special, service average, gives you 10% off if you present receipt from Hanks. Meatloaf with ketchup and mushroom gravy was odd. Smashed potatoes were good.

Food was above-average quality, and portions were not so large that you had no room to experience dessert. We had fried chicken with bacon sage gravy, chicken fried steak with bacon sage gravy, catfish and french fries-- with BACON SAFE GEAVY! Everything was obviously made from scratch - no frozen, canned or microwaved here. The bacon sage gravy is a... More

We decided to have breakfast at the Thunderbird Café this morning after reading reviews for breakfast. We arrived at about 10:15 AM. The place was busy but the service did not keep up with the pace. The menu was very limited. I ordered the build your own omelette which included three items for $8.99. I was charged an extra $1.00... More

Their breakfast is not bad but the service can be a little slow on weekends but I guess that this is to be expected in season. The decor is normal Diner and nothing fancy. Pricing is a little high but with a Resort down the road then this is to be expected. Drive into Harrisonburg and go to the buffett... More

We stopped here one morning for breakfast and my husband fell in love with their food. We had to wait a little while for a table, but after we started eating we forgot about the wait. Everything we ordered was great; from the pancakes, grits, bacon, and eggs. The only thing we wanted when we left was more (not because... More
