Best place to go in Martinsville

Great people, great food!! Lots of good friendly people. I go to Wild Magnolias at least twice a week. Sometimes for food and sometimes when I just want to get out of the house.

You have to go around behind the shopping center to find it, but what a delightful surprise! We were there for lunch between games at a nearby soccer tournament. They set us up easily with a roomy kids table and adult table. We had the homemade chili with just the right flavors and balance of beans, meat, etc. then split... More

Three of us had supper. The appetizers are half price on Mondays. Two of ordered the pumpkin soup: it was inedible because of a strange spice flavor and the lack of any hint of pumpkin. The Tilapia Caesar Salad was good although the lettuce was very roughly cut and the dressing was only okay. The Chicken Tenders were good; however,... More

Perhaps not the most atmospheric for a solo diner, The other reviewers here are spot on! On recommendations I had the chicken Kentuckian. Interesting flavors, but a bit heavy. Do not miss the appetizers, though! Crab stuffed mushrooms were awesome. You can really taste the crab, as well as many other chefs made tastes.

This restaurant was chosen by our local host of a meeting for a large group. I was delighted to find out we were not going to a chain and then really enjoyed my time there. It's tucked behind a shopping center. Our service was excellent, especially with our large group, and the food good. I had a classic Reuben and... More

I'm a local in this area and the one place to go for consistently immaculate food and service is wild magnolia. Appetizers and drinks will hit the spot or if you're in the mood for dining I highly suggest the Chicken Kentuckian. 5 stars all the way around.

Best restaurant in the area. Excellent food, great cocktails and beer, kid friendly (part of what you pay for kids meal goes to SPCA) and great service.

From out of town I found it on a Sunday afternoon. Typical pub environment but quaint with friendly service. Nice selection for menu; decided on a burger -- all fresh ingredients, not disappointed. Great appetizers with unique touchea. Very reasonable on price. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I love the wooden Indian in the corner holding cigars, not very... More
