We arrived tired and not too hungry, but got exactly what we were hoping for...good food made well, and fast, friendly service. Great craft brew selection, and reasonable prices. We would go back if ever in the area again.

I dined with friends at Robin Alexander and I couldn't have been more impressed! Our server was awesome--she made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The food was delicious--two of us had the steak pasta and one had the funnelcake burger. Our food was cooked to order and served promptly. I can't wait to visit Robin Alexander... More

RA's has something for everyone. Their new menu is delicious - I've had many different things on it and enjoyed every one of them. Their drink menu is great as well! They frequently have drink specials (such as half price wines on Wednesday!) and the servers are knowledgeable about everything on the menu.

I was there during restaurant week. The waitress was great and the food was delicious! It was a very vibrant place and you could tell it is very popular.

As New Yorkers, we're spoiled by what are, arguably, some of the best restaurants in the country. We're hardly aficionados of gourmet, though, and simply seek out good food that doesn't make us ill. Simple, right? Spending a week nearby, and lacking options, we came into Lynchburg. Spotted this place, and almost passed it up, but turned around and parked.... More

Had a good meal here at Robin Alexander, in Lynchburg, VA. A comfortable atmosphere to visit with friends, and a very friendly staff that didn't mind taking photos to post on FB! Good food, good selection of wine and local beers.

My husband and I went to Robin Alexander’s during the 2014 Restaurant Week and we see no reason to go back anytime soon. We ordered 4 things each – cocktail, appetizer, entrée and dessert – so they had 8 opportunities to wow us. Unfortunately, only one item even came close. My cocktail was their riff on a bloody Mary martini... More

So, we tried this place a couple months ago when in town for a wedding, but only for a quick drink outside, so I didn't review. This time, we chose it for lunch, and dined inside. I am always so leary of "Burgers", usually overcooked and dry, but WOW this place totally exceeded my expectations with the juiciest, best cooked... More

Taking a break from the Interstate system we meandered through Virgina and decided to have lunch in Lynchburg. Browsing the web before we set out, the lunch menu at Robin Alexander looked promising, including the possibility of a daily lunch prix fixe special... two courses chosen by the chef for $9.49 served until 2:00 pm Meandering is meandering and the...
