Came here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. It didn't disappoint. The food was excellent. I got the Drew Brees pizza. Hubby got the Italian Sub. Kids each got the kid's pizza. Hubby also got a couple of the beers on tap and was very pleased with the taste. The beers are not the typical beers you find in any... More

Kind of a different place.....very eclectic, would you say? But, good thing I don't judge the food on the appearance of the restaurant. It was SUPER busy the night we were there, and noisy! Could barely hear yourself think! (All the colleges are back in session....probably wasn't the best time to go.) Restaurant is kind of dark....dreary. It's underground. I... More

I travel a lot and miss a good pizza now and then. This place became one of my standards to compare all the others. The Chicken-Pesto Pizza is spot on. It can get busy but hey, it's a college town bar.

If possible, try to go when the colleges in town are out. We've been there many times, and it's great when it's not crazy busy. When it is busy, it's disappointing.

Went to Rivermont Pizza to see a concert with our daughter and son-in-law on a Friday night, and really liked the atmosphere and food. Good venue for live music, and the pizza was delicious. Would definitely return for a casual evening. Loved the beer selection, and Ned's in the back had an amazing selection of beer to go. Super fun,... More

Just like others have said, it is pizza in a basement. It is the coolest restaurant I have ever been to. They have a vast collection of local beers and ciders, doubles as a casual bar. They have cool music quite often as well. The pizza is so delicious and the portions are large. You have to try their spinach... More

Read the reviews and had to check it out while in town looking at one of the colleges. Looks like the stereotypical college hangout.....funky interior with low ceilings that opens into a basement area. Great bar area with a separate room that had a TV showing World Cup action. Laid back crowd with a nice micro brewery selection and super... More

After a few culinary disappointments in town, we finally decided to give Rivermont Pizza a try. We had no idea what to expect, but we were in the neighborhood so we stopped in for lunch. The entrance is around the corner and a bit hard to find. Roadside and a nearby 1hr lot are all that's around for parking. We... More

College tour continues with teen, husband and I reveling in this local gem hidden behind and under a wine bar in their historic district next to Randolph College. More than 15 microbrews on tap with pints and tasting sizes which were fun to explore - an Apocalypse stout with hints of chocolate and cinnamon, a blackberry/pear cider and a local... More

They have a variety of very creative brick oven pizzas and all are delicious. They also make some mean hot sandwiches, chili, and tacos on Tuesday. All worth it. They have around 20 taps and rotate beers through, so unless you go every day, you'll find something different every time. Unless what you're looking for is PBR or Natty Boh,... More
