the menu is not exciting or different, plating is average, service was average and wine list was average.. there are other places in the area that are more stellar and exiting for the money... may be perfect if you are staying at the inn, but as a destination just to have dinner.. maybe not

A truely remarkable meal and charming setting. A five course dinner with wine courses accompanying each. The chef visited with us and shared some of the recipes and secrets the inn.

We dined here as part of a "living social" deal with the Mayhurst B&B in Orange. The service and food are truly outstanding. Two-hour dining experience in a beautiful, historic setting. If you have the time and don't mind dressing up, you can't beat this restaurant.
