what a great pizza pie at this little Italian eatery. On a quaint little street in downtown Lexington, this place has the feel on New York City -but with nicer people. We had the Salerno Supreme and it was a race to see who could get to the last piece first. Garlic bread also a casualty of our visit. The... More

We have eaten at Salerno's on numerous occasions while in Lexington visiting our son at VMI. In fact, this is one of the only places we will eat in Lexington because we know the food is always good. We've had both the various subs (Ham & Swiss cheese, the Turkey & Provolone cheese, Beef cheesesteak) and pizza. Every time, the... More

While recently taking a town tour of Lexington, VA, my wife and I decided to find a nice little restaurant for lunch before resuming or trip. We walked around historic Lexington checking menus and cuisines of the various restaurants on the main streets. We kept walking because it was a pleasant day, and soon wandered by what looked to be... More

stopped in for pizza and were so happy we did. The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. Cool college vibe in the middle of Lexington.

The wonderful aroma of garlic & baking pizza crust greet you as you walk through the doors of this unassuming little eatery on a quaint street in a lovely little town..... A giant chalkboard lists the menu, and it's hard to just choose one or two items! Upon the recommendation of the counter-girl, I ordered a slice of white pizza.... More

I never miss a week, I love their pizza and the subs are awesome and huge. I eat here so much, one day I had a sub at lunch and on the way home picked up a Pizza and they laughed and asked wasn't I already here that day. Addictive!

Stopped into Lexington on the way to another destination and was really just looking for something to satisfy our hunger. It was an unexpected pleasure to find great pizza in a rural Virginia town like Lexington. You enter into the main open dining room area and order your pizza at a counter where they give you a number to put... More

I wish I had a Salerno's in my town. Good pizza and classic Italian dishes. Nothing fancy but like eating at momma's place on Sunday dinner. Good simple fare, and plenty of it. Pizza is really good as is the Chicken parm.

I went to Salernos last week while in Lexington. My friend and I both got the penne a la vodka and it really was so delicious. The service was great, especially the owner who took time to chat with us and make sure we enjoyed our meal. I would recommend this little place to anyone visiting Lexington.
