This little place is heaven! We got a pizza, which was huge and awesome, and the subs are fantastic! I will defiantly stop by when I return to visit!

Terrible customer service, ESPECIALLY from their owner. Called in a delivery order, and the teenager taking it sounded high. Took him about four tries to get a really simple order correct. Food came over an hour late, after I was told it would be 25 mins, tops. Delivery man was rude and the food was cold. Called the restaurant and... More

We are a family owned restaurant and employ teenagers of local professors from Washington & Lee, VMI as well as doctors and other parents form this great city of Lexington. These are outstanding kids and for you to accuse them of being High is VERY WRONG. I never said she scammed us, I said the driver gave her too much... More

There are not a plethora of restaurants in Lexington, VA a town of 3500 (doubled by the student population of Washington and Lee and Virginia Military Institute). If you're looking for good Italian food, go to Salerno's. They have very good pizzas and an all-you-can-eat spaghetti meal with garlic bread that will leave you more than satisfied and their prices... More

Delicious pizza and service. You have to order at the counter, but the pizza is brought to your table. One of the few restaurants that uses real homemade buffalo mozzarella on their pizza. We will definitely keep Salerno's on our travel itinerary.

We enjoyed a good Italian meal here. The restaurant is more of a takeout type of restaurant as there are just some basic tables and chairs with no decor to speak of. You go up to the counter to place your order. We were happy to find this restaurant as we had spent the whole day driving and needed a... More

Salernos is a neighborhood kind of restaurant where a lot of local's go, including university students. However, many out-of-towners come as well as Salerno's has great food and a great casual, home-town atmosphere. I have been many times (although I am not a student) and some of my favorite dishes there include the white pizza, chef salad, homemade clam chowder... More

An excellent option for casual Italian dining in Lexington. The pizza is true to wood fired oven thin & crispy with just the right amount of sauce & toppings. Small house salad feeds two. Service is friendly & efficient! Another plus... They deliver!

I have been to Salerno's on many occasions and have never had a bad experience. Their pizza and calzones are amazing and the portions are huge! It used to accept only cash but now accepts all major credit cards. It is not a sit down type restaurant - you order at a kitchen counter and wait for your food. If... More
