Great coffee can be found in many places, but to have a warm comfortable place to hang out AND have great coffee is a good thing! Lexington Coffee Shop has it all! We stopped by before the Christmas Tree Processional and lighting...nice central downtown location!

The Lexington Coffee Shop is the first place I go when I visit Lexington. It smells great, of course, and the folks working there are so friendly. All their drinks are top-shelf.

In town for a few days. Got to the coffee shop every day because I loved their coffee. People there were really friendly so it was a great place to hang out for a little while. Met some nice people at the same time. Good place to stop. Good environmental focus as well (locals can leave a coffee cup which... More

Our favorite when we visit Lexington..small intimate. Students and profs sitting around w/computers or small chat tables. Great pastries. Enjoy

Had fun visiting with friends at the coffee shop. Prices were fair and coffee was good. They gladly accomodated my request for a glass coffe cup. Service was fast and staff was very friendly.

We stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon. It wasn't too crowded, and given how many people were ahead of us, it didn't take long for us to get our drinks. Our drinks were good. Nothing wrong or lacking, but not the pinnacle of coffee either. I say this because I notice the reviews for this shop vary quite a lot,... More

We stopped in for a cup of coffee Sunday morning when visiting Lexington. The coffee was decent-we had the Pumpkin flavor and it was strong. We had the intention of staying for a while and reading, etc., but found one of the two ladies behind the counter to be obnoxious and loud so we had a quick cup and left.... More

Nice little spot for coffee. Their prices are a bit higher but the coffee beans are organic and it was very good. The front of the shop has some unusual pieces of art for sale. Service was quick and friendly. They also have tea and bagels etc.

The coffee is made fresh with several varieties and the homemade hot chocolate is tasty. However, my wife's hot chocolate came out lukewarm today. However, they remade it for no charge and it was great the second time. This is a coffee place, not a full restaurant.

I'm torn in rating this coffee shop- the coffee was good, the bagels were average. The service was OK. The atmosphere was pleasant. The negative of this experience was the amount of time it took to toast a bagel! The time issue caused the pair who ordered after us to cancel their order and leave with just their coffee. If...
