We stopped in here during a long road trip and ordered two medium-rare burgers with bacon and cheddar. They both came out well-done and the bacon was just gross and cheap. The fries weren't fully fried and had clearly come from a freezer bag. I had also ordered a cup of broccoli cheese soup, but what actually came to the... More

Macado's has been serving good food for years. I recently went to the one in Lexington and it was as good as ever! The menu is huge, almost overwhelming, but the good news is that I've never had anything I was disappointed in (for bar food.) Any sandwich that has Macado's sauce will be great, I recommend the Brooklyn Bridge.... More

It's been a few months since my visit, but I remember that everyone in our group of 9 enjoyed their meals, and the prices on the cocktails were great! We still use our free hurricane glasses on a regular basis.

Ate here with a large group. The waitstaff did a great job of covering everyone's needs as fast as they could. There are a number of large tables upstairs where my group ate, so it was very loud. The food was just average, no complaints, but nothing outstanding either.

Travelling with our gluten free Irish friend makes finding yummy restaurants tricky for us wheat eating carnivores, but Macado's had something delicious for all of us. Fun atmosphere and smells wonderful from the essential oil smells coming from the shop just as you walk in. Friendly wait staff. Yummy chips.

great for any meal noon to midnight. Tons of choices for sandwiches. Soft pretzels as an appetizer is a fun choice for a group. Great for groups and a quick meal

We had went here after the football game Mercer playing the Virginia Military Institute. It was their homecoming weekend, so a lot of places were packed. I had called to see how long the wait would be for about 8 people. I was told 30 minutes which was not true at all we were seated in about 10 minutes in... More

My daughter and I ate here after a visit to Washington and Lee. We enjoyed great sandwiches (the chicken salad was delicious! ) and the French onion dip was great with the chips. After dinner we accidently left something at our table. The manager was kind enough to mail it back to us the very next day. Definitely went above... More

Moving in weekend at W&L so waitress was harried and many snafus with order - however the Cobb salad was great and husband enjoyed Mac and Cheese. Had to wait some time for iced tea. Water not so good - have to have the lemon. Very extensive menu.
