Had not been to this spot for awhile since we live out of town, but it did not disappoint. Sat outside in a lovely setting, great gazpacho soup and turkey and cheese sandwich on wonderful bread that they are noted for. more
South Street Under has been a favorite of locals for many years. The bread, soups, & sandwiches are really good. The take-out dinners can be good to very good. The atmosphere is cozy & very friendly. The one thing that has been missing from this place is a really decent cup of coffee. The coffee is definitely below the quality... more

I'd give it 5 stars, but the sandwiches I've tasted from here were pretty lame. However, their take-out beef brisket dinner is reasonably priced and has a 5-star taste. more

Great for lunch especially in the summer sitting outside. They don't advertise it much, but they serve wine from the list upstairs at Tuscy's. more
