We had taken my parents there on July 3rd for an early dinner. We were seated promptly but it was several minutes before our waiter stopped by and took our drink order. We each ordered different en trees, one chicken one pork, one fish and one shrimp. Some dinners seemed like they weren't seasoned at all (fish was very bland)... more

Tuskies is the best NICE restaurant in Leesburg. They have great specials and also a great wine list and wines by the glass are very good too. The seafood is always great, especially the specials, shrimp & grits are awesome, salads - especially the specials - are always great. I'm not sure why there were complaints - but I would... more

We've eaten here a few times, and it just seems so inconsistent. Our most recent meal there was a disappointing Sunday brunch. Other than an expensive buffet, they don't offer typical "brunch" items. Overall, could be much better. more

Six words I grimace to hear in any restaurant, especially one that used to be one of my faves. While we still managed to enjoy ourselves during an anniversary dinner, just little things were off. First, the waiter forgot to bring over champagne glasses. Fine. Then I look out the window and notice a half inch of dust on the... more

I've been to Tuscarora Mill many times for Sunday brunch (just went a week prior) and it has become my favorite places to eat for brunch. I love the different foods as it's not your usual brunch foods and it's all so good. However, on Easter Sunday, it was a disappointment not to mention the price was doubled. First, the... more

Food is always fresh, seasonal, local, sometimes organic. Very modern approaches to american cuisine. Family and gathering friendly. Staff aims to please in a cordial but informed way. Kitchen willing to make substitutions for people on restricted diets. Heads up--just let your server know if you need to get somewhere or if you are there to linger (they're Ok either... more

Four (two couples) of us dined in the main dining room at “Tuskie’s” on Saturday, December 27, 2008. The service was fair until it became ignorant. The bread and Boston Bibb salad was the best I can say for the experience. Typically, you can count on the "specials" being the chef's pride for the evening -- not last night. Two... more

Tuscorora mill is nothing in comparison to their other restaurant, Magnolia's (in Purcellville). The place is a local hang out for a lot of folks and the food is nothing special (especially for the price). Prepare to spend good money at Tuscarora mill. If you're a well-to-do person living out in the exurbs of leesburg then you'll probably find the... more
