Description: The award winning Palio Ristorante Italiano is a combination of three of...
The award winning Palio Ristorante Italiano is a combination of three of the premier historic buildings in downtown Leesburg, Virginia. Palio provides Leesburg's newest venue for dining, entertaining, and banquet facilities. Palio has designed and built an establishment like no other in the Washington area, utilizing unique combinations of cherry wood, onyx, and antique mirrors and chandeliers. The design has been meticulously configured into the existing space in these historic buildings. The theme of the Palio derives from the ancient horse race -beautiful and bold, risky and exciting, a feast for the eyes as well as the senses. Good music, a fine wine selection, house made pasta and bread prepared on site, and sourcing from local producers, can only be described as a beautiful experience- all presented in an historic setting that would be as comfortable in Italy as it is in Loudoun County.

We were up in the area and found a coupon at Restaurant.com for this spot for dinner. I have had mixed success with Restaurant.com places- some great, some just about out of business. This place was neither. The service was decent, the food was ok, and overall it was a nice dinner. Not sure I would visit again but with... More

I visited Palio on Mother's Day with my 19 year old daughter and my parents for lunch. I had been concerned about some reviews that criticized their service. We had a wonderful experience from the time we were greeted at the door. Our waiter was very attentive. The atmosphere was on the quiet side which was perfect since both my... More

This was our second visit to Palio's. The first was many years ago and I vaguely remembered the food being quite good but I didn't care for the upstairs dining room. While looking for a last minute restaurant for my family to take "Grandma" out for Mother's Day, I ran across available tables at Palio's. We were a party of... More

Wonderful food - best wait staff around! We had two cancellations (we called a few hours early to tell them) in our 6 person party and ended up just going with our two grandchildren. We were a little nervous being an upscale place on such a busy day with children, the kids were quiet and enjoyed it because the wait... More

Went to Palio to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was not our first visit and won't be our last. What's special about Palio is it's option for a la carte or prix fixe menu. For approximately $20 more to any main course you can add the prix fixe. The prix fixe includes an appetizer, salad and dessert. This isn't a... More

We've been here a lot of times, family dinners, dates, etc. It's a little on the pricy side in Leesburg, but the room is spacious, food is pretty nice, and they have a great wine list to choose from.

Our group of 14 people attended a business function at this restaurant. The set menu allowed for a choice of main. The servers were unobtrusive and efficient. The food was attractively presented and well prepared. Despite having a large group, we were all served our food at the same time. The highlight of the meal was a delicious tiramisu.

We dined here on a very cold and icy night. The food was exceptionally good that evening. The flavors were melded perfectly. 2 members of our party had the veal and the other member had the seared scallops. I had a difficult time deciding what to select from the menu. The plates were beautifully presented and the food was piping... More

We've been there three times in past six months with 2-4 additional friends; always had professional service, good food; however if you want to relax with a few glasses of wine; it's going to get very expensive- probably can get a similar meal with a bottle or two of wine for 30% less elsewhere
