Innovative and fun

We celebrated Valentine's dinner at the WK. We love this restaurant due to the creative and delicious menu. It isn't cheap but we always feel as if it is worth the money.

The Wine Kitchen has a great happy hour. A glass on wine and an appetizer for only $7, or $4 each. They bring out a little card with the description of the wine, a nice touch. You can also take a bottle of the wine home for $10 off the menu price. I had the meatballs and the white bean... More

Yes, it's small, and we had to wait over an hour for a table, but this is a fun night out if you don't live in DC. We live in Ashburn, our 24 year old recent college graduate living at home is wondering if there is anywhere out in the burbs, able to compete with "the city" so we took... More

My husband and I have wanted to try the Wine Kitchen for a while and on a recent Saturday afternoon we found ourselves walking past the restaurant right at lunch time. When we walked in, to our bewilderment, we were greeted by a very snotty young woman who just said “We have chairs at the bar” then walked away. When... More

First time at wine kitchen and enjoyed it. Would .return! Staff very informative, friendly and attentive. Had the $5 mimosas. Good size and nice amount of alcohol. Highly recommend the cheddar biscuit nuggets. Plenty for for to share. Flavorful with am amazing sauce! Also the Beignets are fabulous. Or meals were tasty but when i go again, I'll stock to... We dined at the Wine Kitchen in Leesburg in January 2015 and enjoyed the dinner. It is a very small restaurant with very limited seating. I would say the restaurant is half bar and half seating for dinner. No reservations and a small waiting area when waiting for a table. The staff are attentive to the customers and we were... More

Whenever we visit family in VA we have at least one visit to the Wine Kitchen. The food is always delicious and they have a great wine selection at reasonable prices.

This was my second visit and the Wine Kitchen did not disappoint. Our server was very friendly and attentice, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting and a very cold, dreary day. Dont miss the poutine-it jas delicious crispy duck fat topping it. We had several of the "tastes," a cheese plate, the poutine, and all 3 desserts in addition... More

The Wine Kitsch gyps you with tiny portions of bad food, meager service, zero presentation, and skimpy “Taste All Three” pours. Cold air blasts you near the front door.

I typically don't do wine bars, primarily because they tend to be snooty, overpriced affairs with bad food. That is certainly not the case at The Wine Kitchen in historic downtown Leesburg, Virginia. The food is from locally sourced farms. The menu is straightforward, simple, but prepared and seasoned perfectly. The farro salad is excellent, as is the Coq au... More
