Doner Bistro is a sit down version of what you'd expect from a street vendor is Germany. They service bratwurst, currywurst (delicious), sausages, and German beer (weizenbier and dark beers). The price is higher than most quick eateries in the area (ex. Windy City Redhots), but the quality is very high. Currywurst is delicious, as are the beers. Beer is... More

Their Biergarten used to be one of our favorite outdoor spots in Leesburg. Simple German food, authentic German beers that are often hard to find, friendly service and (outdoors) cigar-friendly. Over the past couple years, service, food and atmosphere has steadily gone down-hill. The almost all-german-speaking-staff has been replaced with hispanic help, who more often than not appear to be... More

Met a friend for lunch. First the computer system was acting up and it took a bit to place our order. But the schnitzel sandwich was very good. The best part was the German beer on tap. The other two had the curry wurst and both said it needed more curry. Not on my list of must eat here places.... More

What really makes this place is the German beer on tap. It's a great place to meet up with friends. They have a nice deck to sit outside and enjoy a beer with German snack food like pretzels, beef or pork wursts. (They are even cigar friendly for those of you that enjoy a stogie with your beer.) During the... More

Having been fans from the days that Hamburg Donner operated out of a "restaurant on wheels" we were extremely disappointed. The guys that introduced the German version of the Turkish "Donner Kebab" to the area began with a great approach, an awsome dish and the best intentions in the world. What gave them a name allowed them to move into... More

Service is always friendly, food is always good and you cannot ask for a better selection of German beers.

Small space inside but it is cozy and inviting. Good size outside seating area, live music and great beer selection.

Great selection of food, snacks and beer. I've been enjoying their food since they were serving it out of a truck at different strip malls in Leesburg and never been disappointed. You know what you're gonna get, there aren't a ton of Turkish places in Leesburg, and unless you're willing to go into Fairfax County or D.C. you won't find... More

Great food, good variety, fast service. You cannot go wrong at lunch time...or beer time. I've been here for lunch many times...The price is great and you will not leave hungry or with taste buds wanting.

Finally got around to convincing my wife to join me in trying Doener Bistro. We were not disappointed. Of the four of us eating there, three of us have lived in Germany. All of us felt like we were sitting in a Gasthaus back in the old country. It's counter service and they offer imported German beers. But you can... More
