A little bit of Imbiss in USA

This place is a glorified version of an Imbiss (German fast-food place) with a Turkish doner kabob offering. I feel all the German items in this place are very much authentic. However, the doner kabob (similar to the Greek meat sandwich Gyros but no pig meat) is far from what it should be. I have... read more

We thought that this restaurant would have at least acceptable German Fast Food. We were wrong. The items we ordered, weren't close to real German Food. One item ordered was Potato Pancakes, they were too thin, Too Greasy, and no flavor at all in them. The only thing we found satisfactory was, the German beer.! It's a good place for... More

It's not a fine dining restaurant - its more like typical German street food. The Doener box is my go-to as its $9 for a quart-sized cardboard container (think a quart of ice cream size) filled with fries, shredded meat (either beef or chicken depending on the day) and yogurt sauce. Incredible and totally worth every penny!!

I was traveling with family and friends to Leesburg to tour the area. We found this place and called ahead because we had our dog with us. The patio was nice and clean. They had radiant heaters to keep off the slight chill. The food was fresh and delicious. The beers were awesome. There are not many places where they... More

doner bistro is a little place with a small porch but it's functional and everyone seems happy to be there. Do we had nice conversations with all who sat around us and really enjoyed our evening.

We thought we were entering a bistro, but the restaurant turned out to be more like a German version of fast food. The ice and slush near the entrance was not cleared off in early March. Since I am a vegetarian, my choice was limited to a falafel sandwich. The bread was delicious, but I did not like the sauce.... More

I've been here a few times before and always enjoy the food. Stopped by around noon on a weekday, and my friend and I were the only ones there. We each ordered the chicken doner sandwich and split a large order of fries. The sandwiches are great - big, a little spicy and filling - and the fries are great... More

I think this little restaurant is wonderful. The staff is friendly and the food is scrumptious. The Doener sandwiches are so good - even if the taste of garlic lingers in my mouth well into the next day. The fries are so delicious that you feel compelled to finish every morsel - even though your stomach screams at you to... More

We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy, so we had to wait briefly for a table (the inside is not large) but had a place to sit by the time our food was ready. We got the Doner Kabob ( a must try) and the Schnitzel sandwich, along with Pommes (french fries) and a pretzel.... More

Not a great place to look at but do not let that stop you. I had the chicken doner and a pretzel both were excellent. The nice young lady working on this day took her time to explain the menu to me. I recommend this place.
