Best Italian in Williamsburg

We have been looking for good Italian for a few months when we were referred by friends to this quaint little restaurant by the water in New Kent. On the outside, it's very unassuming. Upon entering you find a very cozy and inviting restaurant. Our first trip was toward the end of winter when it... read more

It's a long drive. The food is good, but sauces are heavy. The bruchetta is excellent. Skip the bread (tasted old). Not fancy, but friendly and inexpensive. The Italian chardonnay was inexpensive and solid. We spent about $70 for two people with a bottle of wine and the app.

This particular restaurant is great! Portions are large, tasty, and fit your budget. I have NEVER had a bad meal at this establishment. 'nough said!

When I get a few extra dollars saved up, I make it a point to visit my favorite Italian restaurant. Although it's a bit pricey, you are served about 3 meals worth of food. Once the dam is restored, the waterfront view will be nice. Not so convenient for Wmsbg tourists but worth the drive.

Best chicken Marsala winner here!!! My only complaint is that they don't take credit cards. We have been coming for years, during this time, it's moved locations and came back! We had a lousy experience once, when at the country club location. Sooo glad it came back. Nice wine list too! We come 3-4 times a year while visiting family.... More

Since moving to Williamsburg two years ago we have heard very good things about Walkers Dam Grill. Our friends heard about a special dinner deal going on so we all decided to give it a try. We are glad that we did. The restaurant is located in a campground that is located on a river about ½ hour West of... More

We were staying in Williamsburg and drove 30 minutes to this out of the way restaurant because we heard it was good. We checked the restaurant's web site to see what time they were opened till - site said till 9pm. We arrived and found the "Open" sign lit, and two staff sitting outside smoking. I pulled up to the... More

We would never had known about this restaurant had we not been given a gift certificate to use there. Surprising restaurant in a campground. People were very friendly, food was very good. We had chicken marsala and flounder with lemon sauce. Salad dressing on the large bowl of salad that was brought to the table, was perfect. Garlic knot rolls... More

Hidden treasure! On the Chickahominy river right at Dam. Get there by boat or car, just get there. Wonderful food and portions. My favorite and it will be yours too! My youngest son lives in Florida and he always requests a visit to this little out of the way treasure. Said this is best food anywhere he has found. He... More

I now live very close by and eat here fairly regularly. The is no other place in the area that serves Italian food that I will even bother eating. Growing up in New York in an Italian family has made me very particular and this place meets my high standards. Fantastic veal Montecarlo delicious calamari fradiablo excellent garlic knots and...
