Restaurant is closed. Their food was typical pasty Mexican fare. I'm not surprised that they closed.
We had decided to go out to dinner, and chose El Charrito. We kept saying we wanted to try it, but never got the right opportunity. Anyway, we picked a Friday evening around 6ish or so. The place only had a few people when we sat down, but quickly filled up to a reasonable amount. Our waitress was super friendly... More
Literally just walked out. Ordered $30 of takeout (3 combo dinners and a cheese dip). We were given 1 bag of chips. Politely asked if we could have another bag of chips. Waitress told us it would $2.25. We asked if she could check w manager since we eat 4 baskets free when we eat in. And we ordered 3... More
We've been meaning to try this place for years now, and finally went last week. I brought my in-laws (both born and raised in Texas) with me. My mother-in-law said they nailed the 3 things she looks for: margaritas, guacamole, and enchilada sauce. I had the enchiladas verdes, with chicken - seriously the best enchiladas verdes I've ever had. The... More

Waited over an hour for food. When food arrived two meals were missing. Waited 20 minutes for the 2 meals. Service was the worst I... More
The place isn't much to look at, but the food is superb! I'll choose the Mexican-style guacamole (called something like that on the menu) and the carnitas as particularly good--and I've eaten there at least a half dozen times.
Good Mexican food, excellent service, friendly personnel, and reasonable prices--what more could you want? There is an extensive menu and the dishes we've tried have not disappointed. Service has always been quick and efficient on all of our visits. A great value for the money!
The food is quite good, the value outstanding and the service is second to none. It's not fancy, but then what good Mexican joint is fancy? I live 45 minutes away but eat here as often as I can.
We live locally and eat here often! Most items are very good. I have had a few things I don't like.. and wouldn't recommend but, overall it's good food! The servers are fast and so is the service. My favorite there is the chicken fajita quesadilla, chicken fajita nachos, or the chicken fajita chimachanga! Taco salad are great.. my husband... More
