Last fall, I brought a colleague, to Villa Crawford, for lunch. Over priced, guests, pushing about to get to the serving table, the staff, were novices, the view, a construction site. Oh, bring back, Dean Andrews!

Don't miss an amazing lunch at Villa Crawford. The chef prepares wonderful soups, entrees, and desserts. The food and staff service is just wonderful and high quality. We plan our trips to Charlottesville around having lunch at Villa Crawford.

Visited Keswick Hall this week for lunch. Food was excellent. We were 3 vegetarians in the group. The chef took extra effort to accomodate our needs. Excellent Potato gratin and excellent selection of salads. Amazing experience

At the end of lunch here, my husband said, “That was an inexpensive meal.” He liked the hot entrees: tender pork loin and pasta in Alfredo sauce, “Italian macaroni and cheese”. The Caesar salad had fresh anchovies. The cold buffet items were high quality, and included a choice of 7 desserts—all you could eat. We had a lunch buffet equal... More

The $19 luncheon buffet is elegant - outstanding food in beautiful setting. The choices are limited, but everything we've had has been really, really good. The soup and salad are served at your table. Then you are invited to help yourself at the antipasto table, then go to the table where the chef is freshly preparing the main course (only... More

Visited Villa Crawford for restaurant week on July 10, 2013. I found the menu ($26) overpriced for the items being served (hangar steak/French fries, mussels, bread pudding - all cheap so the restaurant can maximize profits). Food was okay - nothing amazing. Citrus crème brulee had no citrus flavor what so ever. Steak asked for medium came out medium rare... More

Food was good but it was the setting and the Villa itself that were spectacular. Enjoyed our meal and the service was as attentive as you would expect. However next time I would come for a drink at the bar and just a wander around the property.

Friendly, laid-back service inside and out. Shares a kitchen with Fossett's and offers some of the same dishes as well as lighter ones. First-rate crab-cake sandwich with hot, crisp fries one night, but the real star was the Polyface Farm chicken breast, familiar to fans of Michael Pollan's book, The Omnivore's Dilemma. I've only tasted chicken this flavorful once before,... More

Short but beautiful stay. Incredible food - great staff. Will be even better when golf course construction is done.

Had all my meals at Keswick due to the storm--Vila Crawford was very nice for a bar dinner and they put on a very nice lunch buffet. It worked out perfectly
