One of my Top 5 memorable dinners this year. Innovative cuisine, dramatic and cool atmosphere, excellent service. As for a booth. Get the Pomegranate Martini. Order the Fried Green Tomatoes. Oysters! Tuna! Duck! Creme Brulee! Make a reservation and go. Thanks Nick. Thanks Trick Dog.........Woof!

Ate here a year ago and wanted to bring my husband while on his birthday weekend to the area. First, the wine we ordered had soured so we asked for another kind. Next, it took over 1 hour and 20 minutes to be served our entrees. And last but not least, after all this wait, my husband was brought the... More

With my husband and two close friends, we dined at Nate's Trick Dog Cafe on a Friday evening. The space is very attractive and sophisticated with oversized red lanterns in the bar area, and small versions at the booths and tables. Framed pictures were in the booths and thoughtfulness has gone into the ambience. However the prices for what was... More

My wife and I had an excellent meal. My lamb chops were cooked to perfection as was my wife's filet. My try the pears flambé for desert. Service was very friendly and attentive.

You don't expect to find a dinning experience like this in a small town like Irvington. The ambiance is red velvet, mirrors and jazzy. The service, always excellent. Full bar and great food! Seasonal based on what is available but the soft shell crabs were done perfectly with jalapeño hush puppies and jicama slaw - so yummy! The salmon tartar... More

This place fills up quick. If you walk in you may be out of luck. The staff is friendly and the food is good. It will give you a break from the Tides if you don't feel like driving to a neighboring town. You can easily bike from the Tides or walk from the Hope and Glory. The cocktails we... More

I was surprised to have paper over the tablecloths. I felt the atmosphere was lacking in charm. Our food was good but the service was way too slow. The prices were too high for this type of setting.

Friday night dining for a group of 8 of us!! We arrived(with reservations-recommended) and were seated promptly!! Our service was very good and after a round of apps(delicious) all enjoyed their salads and main entrees! The wine menu is sufficient and offers choices for any discerning taste or price point! This is a must if your dining in the Irvington... More

Took the family on 4th of July. The taps at the bar didn't work, so no draft beer. Bottled beer was warm. Food wasn't great. One meal had to be returned to the kitchen because it wasn't cooked well enough. Seems like the place should have been ready for the 4th of July patrons. Much too expensive for this kind... More
