A tasty little gem

My husband and I ate here for dinner during a getaway weekend. The food was good - my crab cakes were huge, fish chowder was out of sight, and his fresh oysters were off the boat fresh and tasty. The ambience is great, everyone was friendly. The blueberry creme brûlée was out of this world! The... read more

Started with calamari antipasto - wonderfully delicious -more than enough for 2-3 to share. Next crab cakes. I was served 2 large cakes with tasty veggie side. With a salad & fresh bread, no room for dessert! Attentive but not intrusive service.

We went to this restaurant, a local favorite, because we were intrigued by the Cinque de Mayo menu advertised in the local paper. We chose to go when they opened at 5:00 because my husband has hearing problems and has difficulty with noisy restaurants. While we sat on the side with the tables, most of the other patrons poured into... More

Two friends and I ate, for the second time, at Nate's Trick Dog on Saturday night. A month ago we loved the place, the food and our friendly and effecient waitress, Charlotte, who was such a delight that she received a tip of just less than 30% from our table because she added greatly to our enjoyment of the evening.... Nate's trick dog is a very popular place to eat among the local population and visitors alike. Good menu with plenty of options including seafood. Oysters in the area are great, so make sure to consider them. Very friendly ambiance and good service, kid friendly, enjoyable place to grab a bite.

Love the interior -- the big red shades are great! -- very cozy and swanky at the same time, fun menu, great service. Brought our kids along and they enjoyed it too.

Trick Dog is a great place for visitors and locals alike. While my first choice of entree was 86ed, my 2nd choice of duck was beautifully prepared. Great Food and a good time.

Enter and you will be surprised how much bigger it is than it looks. My wife and I came for dinner, it being recommended by our B&B. Nice lighting, plenty of tables. Our server was very pleasant and took good care of us. My wife ordered just a grilled filet mignon, medium, without all the extras printed on the menu.... More

Always ready to jump at the chance to dine at the Trick Dog Cafe and I've had that wonderful experience over a dozen times over the last few years.... and I have never been disappointed. Trick Dog deserves being saved for the special treat or big celebration! The menu is creative and even with repeat visits there is enough diversity... More
